Hello, fellow Steemians.

On this precious occasion, I would like to participate in an interesting challenge that discusses mental health and stress management.

Do stress relief meditation, do any form of exercise. Share the video and let us know how effective it is for you.

Honestly, whenever I feel stressed or overwhelmed with anxiety, I have a simple meditation technique that is very effective in calming my mood and helping me relax. The technique I often use is to inhale deeply for four seconds, hold my breath for four seconds, and then exhale slowly through my mouth for four seconds.

This method has been a lifesaver for me when I have to speak in front of a forum full of adults or when my mind feels heavy before bedtime. By following this breathing pattern, I feel more prepared, calm, and my nervousness gradually fades away.

Additionally, I often combine it with light physical movements like moving my hands, feet, and shaking my head to relax tense muscles, making my body feel much more relaxed.

Share any creative activity, such as painting, writing poetry, or crafting.

My activity with my wife is jogging every afternoon.

When it comes to creative activities, I strongly believe that maintaining physical fitness is the key to releasing mental stress.

In the afternoon, I regularly take time to run around the field or reservoir to breathe in the fresh air. In addition, every week I actively play futsal with my friends.

For me, the sweat that comes out during exercise is a symbol of releasing accumulated stress. Not only that, I also regularly donate blood every three months. There is a sense of inner satisfaction knowing that the blood I donate can benefit others in need, while for my own body, this makes me feel much healthier and fitter.

image.pngAnother conscious effort to maintain health is to donate blood regularly every 3 months.

All these activities are not just routines, but conscious efforts on my part to care for both my mental and physical health.

Regarding the third assignment, which discusses the story of Sneha, a child who struggles with physical limitations and Down syndrome, I feel very concerned. In my opinion, there is a fatal flaw in the parenting style of her parents, who often engage in daily conflicts in front of Sneha.

I always try to be gentle with children.

These constant conflicts certainly instill trauma, anxiety, and deep fear in the child, when parents should be role models or suritaullah who provide unconditional love and protection.

On the other hand, Sneha is also trapped in the wrong position because she always blames herself for her condition. Her decision to try to end her life by taking pills was a tragic step that should not have been taken.

Through this story, we are reminded that being a parent means being ready to accept our children in any condition, accompanying them patiently, and believing that they are a gift that will bring blessings to us in the future.

5 Steps to Overcome Stress

In closing, I have formulated five personal steps that I always adhere to in order to avoid stress.

  • The first step is patience, which means accepting God's will with an open heart, whether it is pleasant or bitter.
  • The second is to maintain a calm attitude, so that we do not make rash decisions when under pressure.
  • Third is drawing closer to God; through prayer and worship, I believe the Creator will provide the best solution for every problem.
  • Fourth is keeping a positive and optimistic mindset, as excessive worry only leads to mental exhaustion.
  • Finally, manage your heart, where we learn to regulate our hearts and souls to remain stable and peaceful in the face of life's dynamics.

These are simple yet meaningful steps that help me stand tall in the midst of life's challenges.
