Teacher Competition❗ celebration, entertainment, and a spirit of cooperation.

As Teacher's Day should be a special moment, we organized a number of interesting, exciting, funny and challenging competitions. This competition is a form of celebration, entertainment, and the spirit of cooperation. Happy Teacher's Day 🎉🎊🥳

On Monday, November 25, 2024 coincided with the 79th National Teachers' Day (HGN) and the anniversary of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI). My fellow teachers and I organized a competition at Lancok beach, Syamtalira Bayu sub-district, North Aceh district.

We gathered at the school yard at 11.00 am and then departed by bus to the designated location. Arriving at the Lancok beach location we prepared everything, besides that we also ordered a few glasses of drinks and some food.

After all the necessities were prepared, the committee called all teachers to immediately gather and take a lottery number, those who get the same number will join a group in the competition activities to be held.

There are several types of competitions that have been planned, including the bottle arrangement competition, the ball blowing competition, the style guessing competition, the money spoon competition, and the coconut milk squeezing competition. These five types of competitions are challenging, simple games and also require cooperation from each team member.

Each team and its members whisper to devise the right ways and strategies in order to win the game, but not necessarily the strategy is effective and can be implemented by each team member, because many of them have never played this game.

Ball blowing competition

The water ball blowing competition is an exciting challenge, as each team member can only blow using one breath. Each team member can only blow once and then immediately move to the back position. If the ball falls, it must be placed back in the first glass position.

The trick we did to successfully blow the ball to the next glass was to blow on the water, not directly on the ball. If blown directly on the ball then the ball will come out of the glass.

In the first round of this match our team won, then we moved on to the next round so that we could move on to the next stage.

In the next round our team won again. We were crowned the first winners of this ball blowing challenge. It was a very exciting and entertaining game and practiced good cooperation from the participating teachers.

Then we continued with the next game, the word guessing game, where two of the team members had to make a gesture that depicted the word they were told, then the rest of the team had to guess what the word was during the given time duration.

There were some words that were difficult to act out, such as nurse ngesot, snake dancer, thick mouth and other words. Of course, those who become demonstrators need creativity so that their friends can understand the intent and message to be conveyed.

In this charades game, my group was also chosen as the winner because they managed to guess more words, I felt grateful for having achieved both victories and was expecting a special prize in sight.

The next stage we continued the blindfolded money scooping game, in this game only one person was in charge of scooping as much money as possible to put in the basket, while the other team members only gave signals and directions.

This game is also limited by time, the group that collects the most money will be the winner. If you look at this game, it is very easy and simple, but a lot of money falls and does not go into the basket.

This game was very entertaining and made us laugh, because those who were holding the money with their eyes closed felt they had gotten the most amount, when in fact they had not.

In addition to these fun activities we also enjoyed some food and drinks by the beach, so that's how we celebrated Teacher's Day together, all activities were very entertaining and encouraged teamwork. Happy Teacher's Day.
