Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 2 | Promote Steem in your City and try to recruit a new user!

It's my pleasure to participate in this season 2 engagement challenge Organized by @steemitblog. I actually love growth and will be the happiest person to see 1 Steem grow to $5 or more. To contribute to that, I take Steemit to every street, roads and doors in my city. Its time to tell you the outcome of my Promotional activities of today. Please read it along with me.

I have many ways of doing that. I do promote Steemit online and offline. But, most of the poeple I shared it with on social media platforms findings it difficult to believe that is true. Currently now, am using my most successful method which is one on one or word of mouth method. So, I go to busy area's in my city, shops and streets, schools, etc, to tell poeple about Steemit.

If you are a farmer, you must have working materials to run your farming business smoothly. It's applicable to other businesses and Steemit. To have a successful promotion, I have t-shirts, face cap, flier's and banners. All these materials makes me an outstanding Steemit promoter. I work smart with those materials and, they make me look more deal and professional when Promoting Steemit.

Some reacted positively while others reacted negatively. Some do laugh at me and asked me how can a business I didn't put any money on pay me back. While some person's see it as an opportunity that they will never let go.

Many don't have smartphones. Some that have smartphones don't have data. Some are busy with their various works and businesses. Some are interested but don't know how to read and write. Some too complains that writing is not their hobby, so the can't write up to 300 words. I have met someone on Promotion who told me that he can't wait for his post to pay out in 7 days time before he will get more. All these things I just mentioned is what I have seen that hinders user's from joining Steemit.

The level of our Promotion here in Uyo City has made it easier for us to convince others to join. I didn't say much to convince them. It was a solid arrangement made by @ijelady for us to visit some religious organisations and some of the youths president's. So, on Sunday 5th June 2022, she went to present Steemit in one of the churches here in Uyo. After her presentations, 5 of their youths came to the office today for registrations. I and @ijelady gave them all the informations about Steemit, and after that, the got themselves registered and I mentored 2 Person's to write their achievement1 task.

Network not being stable is my challenge. Sometimes, you will try to sign up someone but network will knock you out. Some person while signing them up will run out of data, and you need to hotspot him to finish up with the registration. Other challenges includes let downs from poeple. Some will not give you attention while some will be looking at me as a scammer. It's really a challenge.

• When network says no, don't stress yourself, give it time and try again.

• Always recharge your phone before going out, so that you can hotspot your recruites when he ran out of data.

• When poeple laugh or look down on you. Don't react badly. Keep quiet and look for another person. Remember, No means next opportunity Look for another person and live uninterested person.

I am here today because someone told me about Steemit. At first, I didn't believe it's true. That's why, I don't easily get upset when poeple rejected it. But today, I am enjoying my Steemit journey. So, I have made myself a promoter of Steemit because it's has affected my life in a positive way. @ijelady and @chimeroselam please am waiting for your entry.
