The diary game// 31st May, 2021// Another Lockdown??(post 100% power-up)
Dear diary, it's Monday and we are stuck at home. No, it's not a public holiday rather we are home out of fear because violent clouds looms. Am I scared? I guess I am because this is my first time hearing gunshots on a regular. Surrounded by security personnel around my estate does not even make it better rather I am more at risk.
So today, I woke up by past 6a.m, joined my family for morning devotion. All these while I was straining to hear the sound of any car passing the major road and unlike the typical bustling Mondays, today was as quiet as a grave yard.
I started breakfast which is my home made buns and took this picture with my daughter afterward.
After breakfast, I started reading one of my Francine Rivers novels which is an e-book.
The title is 'The Master Piece'. I honestly don't know how Christian fiction can be this interesting. The book is about a young man Roman Velasco who was formerly named Bobby Ray Dean. He is an artist who secretly does graffiti but is popular for his art work in the circular world. He gets a new personal assistant in the person of Grace Moore who is a divorcee with a son.
Roman does not understand Grace's reason for being a Christian since he is an atheist or rather God must be wicked since God did not let him have a happy childhood coupled with the death of his prostitute mother and gang friends.
To cut a long story short, Roman finally gets an encounter with God albeit a near death experience. He finally marries Grace.
By evening I ate my leftover rice from yesterday,
watched my favourite Television series 'Greed and Desire' and went to bed since we hope that tomorrow would be better.

That's very interesting! You are not a lone in your fears about what the Monday, May 31, 2021 will bring a about. Almost everyone in your part of the country had the same fear including my very goodself.
However, we thank Jehovah that there were no much problem in many places.

@chinma, you are not alone. That 31st may was like a ghost city here, not even security cards where on the road, people still live in fear, it's crazy. We pray for God's kingdom to come and bring an end to all this heartache. You got a beautiful daughter.
