CONFIDENCE.

Confidence course is the most important course in any training curriculum. But unfortunately, this course is not in any school curriculum. No wonder many graduate from school more confused than they were when they entered.

Confidence is the quality of trusting, it comes from a latin word ‘fidere’ meaning Trust. The most successful people in life are not the most talented, not the most intelligent, not the most gifted, not the most privileged but the most confident and determined.

With all your certificates and exposure, you can still be stranded in life if you are not confident. Inferiority complex, low self-esteem and poor self-image are the worst enemies of your progress and destiny.

So the greatest people in your life are those that help you to build confidence.
This course is so important that the Holy Scripture addressed it in Hebrews 10:35 "Do not cast away your confidence which has great recompense of reward".

No matter how gifted you are, without confidence, you cannot showcase what you have.

> No matter how talented you are, without confidence, you can end up a mediocre.

No matter how privileged you are, without confidence, you cannot harness opportunities.

Many that are destined to be front liners in the race of life die as back benchers, because of lack of confidence. Many that are wired to be key players in the game of life, end up as spectators because of lack of confidence. The virtues that you need to become outstanding in life are already embedded in you. But you need a good doze of confidence to showcase them.

I have seen people with little talent and small privilege succeed outstandingly because they have a lot of confidence in the little talent and privilege they have. What the ground is to the seed is exactly what confidence is to your destiny. Yes, the seed have the potential to become a tree, but the conditions that will push out the tree from the seed are inside the ground. Likewise you have within you what it takes to succeed exceedingly, but confidence is a requirement to push them out.

Confidence begins with personal appraisal. It is not bold face neither is it talking tough. Confidence is a strength of heart that urges you to push ahead even when situations are contrary.

If you are a confident person, you know. And when you approach life with confidence it shows.

One of the things you must understand about yourself that helps you to build confidence.

YOUR UNIQUENESS
How you see yourself is very important in your bid to build confidence. Inferiority complex is not a credit. It is on a mission to make you shortchange yourself.

If there is any deficiency in you that makes you feel inferior, please handle it. Work on it. Don't assume that it will disappear by ignoring it. If your educational level makes you feel inferior, do something about it. But if what makes you to feel inferior is something you cannot change, accept yourself the way you are and push ahead.

Confident people are not people without flaws, but people that don't focus on their flaws.

PERSONAL APPRAISAL
If you can examine yourself well, you will discover something that makes you unique. There is something special about you. Something that puts you in your own class. Something that makes you different from everyone else.

Do you know that what you don't see in yourself, nobody will see it in you.
