HURAY IS PORTHARCOUT CITY 6th ROAD-SHOW, WE KICK-STARTED FROM UNIVERSITY OF PORTHARCOUT, NEWBIES WAS SIGNED UP AND MENTORED 10% FOR STEEMALIVE.

Introduction

Hello steemians welcome to my blog it's been long I did this courtesy some issues but trust me I'm really fine now, it's all about promoting steemit across the city, letting people know about this wonderful platform remains our major priority.

Before my team kick-starts promotion we usually plan ahead thus determining the actual venue, for some time university of portharcout has been our top choice, reason been that there are more enlightened people around the university than entering the daily Market where buying and selling takes place. It all started in great facets like this.

Morning meet-up

At around 9am, I called the crew and waited at everyday supermarket very closer to university of portharcout entrance gate, many of then coming from different places around the city so I waited until everyone came on-board, and we officially kick-started. Starting from the entrance gate we started issuing Steem fliers and explaining in details how the steemit platforms works.

So many people declined saying they have done so many online business yet nothing come out, so we structured a slogan always telling then that joining is actually free meaning they won't pay anything, I still showed my wallet to then just for proper confirmation, our people always believe in seeing, they see then believe of course you won't blame then for this gesture.

We still waled down up until we got to Abuja campus, in University of portharcout, where various people where consolidated talking to each other, some guys too where practicing carrying out some vital exercise remwm this is weekend, we got there talked to some persons and some where able to sigh in, below are some images captured by me.

We took some pictures with the newbies and those mentored together, we still proceeded to various lecture halls to meet with those having evening classes and we kept on meeting various person's, along the process we met some church crew telling us about an upcoming shopping event basically at Gateway church tomorrow we where all invited hopefully some portharcout city steemians will attend. For me it's not prett certain.

At Delta part we met an energetic young guy who decleared intrest in joining so we quickly signed him up take a look below.

Signing this newbie there was really a network issue so we connected him with hotspot, and everything moves according to plan hopefully he was able to write his Achievement1 post, below is the link

Not just signing in, he was mentored on how to carry out achievement2 task and he got it clear, we also structured a program involving me and @prolee, which entails rewarding newbies with some liquid steems for support, this will surely boost their moral to blog in full phase.

Afternoon Activities/Refreshments

At about 12pm, we went out for refreshments very important you will agree with me, after much trecking Courtesy this the crew was pretty divided as a result of meal that will be taken, some went for Eba/ Garri and soup, while others went for plantain and fish/yam.

I myself and other guys went for plantain and fish/yam, reason been that I dislike eating Eba outside, any meal prepared by an outsider is a no-no for me, the eating experience was sweet as we all spent about #700, which is equivalent to 2 steem in exchange Market, below are some pictures taken along the process.

Most of the promoters are football lovers just as you know it's week-end, so we quickly prepared and rushed down to watch, some football games, Chelsea was the Early kick-off Match starting around 1;30pm, so we gat to run to making sure that we meet up to watch the game.

Possibly I and prolee went to the nearby bet-king shop to view the Chelsea game, we got there when the first 45 mins was already done, second half kick-started, and the game started in full phase, in the end Chelsea won the game by 3-0, the goal scorers was Antony Rudiger, Ngolo Kante, and Christian pulisic. That was how the game ended. I took some pictures of people playing game inside the bet-king shop view the pictures below.

At about 3pm, I took prolee to a point where he will repair his damaged phone, I wanted to leave so I could meet up to executing other tax, but he insisted so I had no option than to wait until he finishes his phone, that was how it happened after much delays in the end the phone was fixed and everything worked perfectly as planned.

At around 7;12pm we headed to our various destinations, I quickly boded a taxi down straight to the location where I reside, I paid #200 from choba down to my house it was indeed a stressful day leaving house by 9am, and returning by 7;12pm, all the same the achievement has been achieved and newbies has been mentored and officially signed in.

Conclusion

Steem Road show is a project that involves promoting steemit, letting more people joining the ecosystem, and this can only be achievable through physical promotion and mentorship, motive been that the more people join the ecosystem the more we have steem token run in circulation/more people holding it, thus the strength of steem will boost in the exchange market.

Today road-show was seen as a successful one, just as others have, today own wasn't an exception we thankGod for everything, many thanks to those who galvanized this idea of bringing steemit to people's door steps, portharcout steemians our motive remains to become the most populated steemit crew/group around the country, trust me we shall achieve that Faith as time goes on.
