Today,I will be sharing with us on how I spent my day at the farm and at the same went to see a long time friend.
Let me share the gist here.

My morning Activities

I woke up early having the farm work in mind. I had my normal routine of family worship where we discuss some passages of the scripture,,,and then retired to some chores that needs my attention that morning.

Within some time I was done with the chores so I had to tell my siblings and mum that I was done so we left for the farm. We were actually to harvest cassava for Garri.

Arrival at the farm

We arrived at the farm full of energy for work . Well,the snacks we bought on our way to the farm might have been part of the energy booster( My love for snacks would make me do any work assigned to me just to have a bite of the snacks. I love snacks)

Taking a look at the farm,we got to discover that half of the cassava has already been stolen. They stealers would uproot the cassava and insert the stem back to the ground making it look like there was still something inside it

It was very disheartening meeting the cassava in such condition. Nonetheless,we still thanked God that there was a little left for the sower.

Immediately,we started uprooting the remaining ones... My brother would clear the bush while I harvest and he'll also clear his own part and harvest.

At a point I had to get a cutlass to clear my own part and harvest because waiting for him for to come clear my own part before I harvest was taking much of the time,as we all had our plans for the day.

We saw to it that we get all the left over and then headed back home.
I took my bath and had some rest.

My Afternoon Activities.

I was sleeping when my phone rang, it was a friend of mine whom I haven't seen for long now......... He called to inform me he was in Aba city and would love to see me urgently because he would be leaving the next day.

I was so excited hearing from him because it's been long we spoke and saw each other.
I quickly got up and refreshed and dress up and then went out to meet him at main park in Aba.

It was so nice meeting him once again after many years of his relocation.
We spoke about many things including gist of past memories while he was in Aba.

He couldn't hold back his joy seeing me.
He said "presh I just feel like taking you along with me while going".
Those words were really touching from the way he said it,, I just had to bring up something very funny that made him laugh out so loud just to prevent him from being moody because I already sensed it from his tone of voice.

Within some time we had to bade each other goodbye because it was already late.
We walked down to a junction where we took different Keke to our different locations.
It was indeed a memorable one.

evening activities

On getting home i went to the nearby market in my area and bought some food stuffs for preparing dinner.

I prepared my my Beans with yam. Took my bath and then relaxed and had my dinner.

Having been to the farm and meeting my old time friend made my day a fulfilled and memorable day.
