Hello great steemians,
I welcome you all to my diary session. I know you are all in good health. Here is a breakdown of our Steemalive Umuahia city meetup which was held today at Michael Opkara University of Agriculture stadium, Umuahia, Abia state , Nigeria.
ABOUT OUR MEETUP
I must first of all thank God who made this meet-up a success, after several planning and postponing of this meet-up, finally it was held today been the 19th of September 2021 and the time it was scheduled was 2:00pm. Tho, I don't reside in Umuahia so I had to travel all the way down to umuahia for this great meetup today, tho it was streesful but I made it.
I arrived at Umuahia town on time
So I took a cab to ( Michael Opkara University of Agriculture) I got there at 12:30pm. I was early, I had to stay with my brother who is a student there till the time of the meeting. At exactly 2:00 pm we arrived at the venue.
We had to wait for some other members to come, here are the names of some steemians that were present

MATTERS DISCUSSED AT THE MEETUP
The meeting started with prayers, which was led by @ladyofpolicy. Welcomed everyone and the new members.
She made an introduction speech on Steemit, and how we can grow on the platform
Second speaker was @whitestallion who gave us a detailed speech on the Steemit platform and how we can power up our accounts, so as to get more reward from the platform. There was also a room for questions, which some newcomers asked in the areas they don't understand.
Our guest speaker @pricelesspresh also contributed to this meeting by telling us more on how to create our profile and how to go about the Achievement task and also emphasized on plagiarism and the benefits you gain as a newcomer.
Our guest speaker @pricelesspresh also told us her experience on the Steemit Blockchain and how Steemit has made her become a good reader so as to Upvote a good content.
@ninapenda from steemalive Aba city also told us her own experience and the benefits of joining Steemit. She also talked on the various communities and back to our host speaker.
@ladyofpolicy who concluded with the final words on Steemit registration been totally FREE for those who want to join and also multivating newcomers to be consistent in writing.
Some new members also got registered at the meet up.

We had a little refreshment which was sponsored by some members. Everyone was happy.

Finally we had our first meet, and the second one is on the way. It was a success. With the meet-up, we were able to meet each other in person and know more about ourselves. Am glad I made it..
