"My Mistakes In 2021 And My2022 Resolutions. 10% To @steemalive." Date: 24-12-21

INTRODUCTION
Greetings to you @steemalive and @focusnow. It's my pleasure to be part of this contest organized by this amazing community at this particular point in time.

Obviously, this contest is very apt considering the fact that since we're imperfect people, we're bound to act or think wrongly sometimes and thus, reap unpleasant and unwanted results that come out of it much of the time. In otherwords, we make certain mistakes in life and at certain points in time that if given another opportunity, we would like to make some needed adjustments.

Hence, in this content, i will be discussing 2 major mistakes i made in 2021 resulting in serious impacts on my struggle for a living and they're as follows:

Putting All My Eggs In 1 Basket, As It Were, In 2021.

In this case, i seem to have overlooked another aspect of my family's source of livelihood that i have been managing over the years which has to do with my outfit(wears) business. To this end, it seems as if i have swept this long-standing business under the carpet ever since i joined steemit social network given the immediate benefits and rewards that i have been enjoying on this social network.

Actually, before i signed up on steemit, i was a dealer in men's wears such as already made suits(both designer and corporate), senators, shirts, trousers, etc, but on a very low scale due to some financial limitations.
The following image depicts a sample of one of the outfit that i deal on and how it looks on me.

However, i can rightly say that i made the serious mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket by not giving proper attention to this outfit business and for the following reasons:

1. Due to the harsh economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic on many people and on their various means of livelihood, which also affected my customers who live in the same locality with me as well, their rate of patronage was adversely reduced to a very minimal level as a result of the accompanying hardship from the pandemic. This really affected my business negatively.

2. I seemed to have not given proper attention to, or rather to have overlooked, my long-standing fashion business, although it wasn't a deliberate act, because of lack of money to fund the business.

3. Immediately i joined steemit, i noticed that it is connected with a stable flow of income as long as a steemian is up and doing or active when it comes to blogging, so i quickly embraced it.

Yet, putting all my eggs in one basket,as it were in this way has seriously affected the size of my income, and of course this is an obvious truth.

What I would Have Done If Given A Second Chance

If given a second chance, i would have reactivated or revived my outfit business by giving it the due attention it deserves, thereby balancing it with steemit network business.

Doing so will enable me to have a supplementary and boosted income, to the benefit of my household.

Inability To Qualify For Club75 And Club100 This Year,2021

This is the second major mistake i made in 2021. Despite all my efforts to join the above-mentioned 2 clubs this year, it's very unfortunate that i couldn't qualify due to some financial constraints.

I regard this as a mistake on my part considering the fact that joining those clubs, as we all know, can speed up or facilitate someone's growth on steemit, however, failure or inability to qualify to join any of the clubs aforementioned can lead to a retarded or stunted growth on steemit network, and of course the latter isn't a palatable experience, for it can limit or even restrict one's participation in most contests and other activities organized on the steemit platform.

What I Would Have Done If Given A Second Chance

I would have gradually upgraded myself on steemit platform by joining #club75 and #club100, if given a second chance, thereby speeding up my growth. In addition, i would have seriously sourced for money elsewhere in order to comfortably attain or achieve this noble goal.

The 3 Things I Would Like To Accomplish In 2022 And How I Plan To Go About That

The 3 things i would like to accomplish in 2022 and how i plan to accomplish them are as follows:

• Reviving, and balancing my wears (outfit) business with steemit network so that none of them would be neglected unlike before. In this case, i would use steemit as a sideline in order to earn extra or more money.

In connection with reviving my outfit business which i overlooked for sometime due to the aforementioned reasons, i am planning to re-establish my contact with my old customers once again and also rekindle their interests in patronizing my business since it has been a long time i enjoyed their patronage as a result of my being temporarily off in the business.

In addition, i am also planning to reach out to new customers as well by using other different marketing strategies which include internet(online) marketing, in order to advertise my business and make it go viral. So, this implies that i am more determined now than ever before to take this business to greater heights,thus, sustaining and successfully carrying it along with steemit in order to boost my income.

• Joining #Club75 and #Club100.

Since the above-mentioned clubs are aimed at speeding up or facilitating our growth on steemit and i am unable at the moment to join this year 2021, i would like to join them next year,2022.

Although, i would do so one after the other, i am planning to source for money, so that i would be able to join. To this end, i have personally mapped out some strategies that would enable me do this fund raising successfully to that effect.

• Promoting steemit far and wide and signing up many newbies on steemit.
  In this case, i am planning to embark on steemit promotional campaigns on a grander scale by taking it to a higher level, i would also spread my tentacles beyond my present area of operation and coverage.

This involves reaching out to people wherever they can be found no matter the area, state or zone in which they live. It also implies that with a determined effort on my part, i would expand my scope of steemit promotion to such areas as higher institutions, business outfits, schools,etc to mention but a few, and i am also more determined now than before to sign up a lot of newbies on steemit by employing various methods at my disposal in order to successfully recruit them.

In fact, at this point, i consider any person i would approach during my steemit promotional activities as a prospective steemian. I am planning to use fliers, participate in road shows, meet ups, etc, so as to help me achieve my goal.

How Important Each Of My Resolutions For The Upcoming Year 2022 Are To Me

In a nutshell, it is noteworthy that i personally take very seriously each of the aforementioned resolutions that i mentioned in this article, this implies that those resolutions are so important to me that i am highly committed to keeping them, they're highly indispensable to me in moving forward.
