Introduction

Its time once again to bring you important updates of things that have happened in our community in the last 7 days. First of all, we apologize for our inability to bring make our weekly updates for some time now. This is as a result of some challenges we have overcome. From this moment going forward, we wont miss to publish our weekly updates as at when due. So lets get straight into the business.

1. Achieving 9x Dolphin status

Yesterday was like party time in the community. We were all excited as we achieved 45,000 owned Steem Power. This was as a result of our commitment to power up more of our earnings in the community account. We took the time to look back on what we have done in 2022. We discovered that we had powered up more than 9000 Steem in total. We made a post about our 9x dolphin status. So find more details in the post below:

2. Increased Delegation to SteemAlive - 26,292 SP

As at the last time we did our community update which is one month ago, our total delegations was 13,822 SP. But currently, we have received double that amount. Total delegations received currently stands at 26,292 SP. This has increased our effective Steempower to 71,279 SP.

Interestingly, SteemAlive is the only community that does not pay out daily or weekly delegation rewards. Our members are all volunteers. They are happy to give and contribute to community growth. To repay this trust, we want to mention again that we do not use the community account to vote outside the community unlike what is obtainable elsewhere. Our 100% votes go to these members that have shown confidence in us by delegating at no cost to the community

We want to seize this opportunity to say thank you to all our volunteers. We still welcome more delegations. You can increase your delegations to the community or do a new delegation if you have not done so before. Use any of the links at the bottom of this post to do that.

3. Still the most followed curation trail

Our curation trail is still the most popular on Steemit. We are closer to having 1000 accounts following us. Isn't that impressive? Our curation trail has helped us to support more members daily. We try to give it 10 votes through the trail daily. We hope to continue growing our tail so as to support more members.

4. Average active posters equals +90

For some weeks now, our average active posters has not been less than 90. We had a peak of 105 at the beginning of the current week. This is an impressive number given the ongoing engagement challenge which has made some members to publish in other communities. Additionally, SteemAlive is 100% Nigerian. As such, we are still the most populous indigenous community, a status we have maintained for some years now regardless of challenges and prevailing circumstances.

5. Still doing Promotion and Recruitment 100%

We have never derailed from our objective, which is to take Steemit to every doorstep in Nigeria. SteemAlive still actively run promotion projects across different cities in Nigeria. Our teams in Uyo and Aba are the most active. Currently, our Food4Thought promotion project has been launchec in these two cities. Recruitment and promotion is still ongoing and many newbies are joining us as can be seen in these reports from @ijelady, @chichieze and @marajah:

• Mentoring my newbies to make more progress on Steemit, attending our weekly meetup.
• Write2right:How I helped @esthtianoe to sign up and wrote Introduction post
• OUR STEEMALIVE FOOD4THOUGHT PROGRAM YIELDS MORE POSITIVE RESULTS.

6. Moderator Reports

We currently have 5 Moderators who are all working hard to ensure that posts in the community are visited and checked to ensure they comply with Steemit standards. We appreciate all the efforts our moderators are making to ensure that only quality posts are allowed to exist in the community. Below are their reports of last week activity:

7. My Sunday and I

In order to boost our activity over the weekend, @focusnow launched a Sunday-only contest called My Sunday and I. Participants are expected to write on a Selected topic and submit their entries on Sunday. Last week was the launching of the project. Impressively, 8 persons participated. 8. Community Weekly Contest
