Simple recipe for ogbono soup by suzzy
Goodevening friends ,hope you all are having a wonderful and blissful weekend, this evening am going to share with you my simple recipe for ogbono soup and am using bitterleaf for this soup, sit tight and enjoy
INGREDIENTS
Ogbono
Egwusi(as thickner)
Palm oil
Salt
Dry fish
Meat/fish
Crayfish
Bitterleaf
Knorr seasoning cube.
salt, knorr seasoning cube and palm oil.
PROCEDURE
First wash your hands for a clean hand means a healthy meal
2)wash and steam your meat, for steaming you can add salt, knorr seasoning cube and onions .
Allow the meat to cook very well.
3)wash your dry fish very well(i prefer hot water) and cook in a seperate pot.after cooking for some mins, add water depending on the quantity of soup you are making.
4)add hot water to your egwusi (i choose this method since i dont want to fry),you can use the wwater from the pot and leave it for some mins.
5)add your ogbono ,palm oil, egwusi and stir very well.cook for like 10 mins.
6)add your meat, salt and knorr seasoning cube to taste.stir very well so that the ogbono and egwusi will not stick to the pot and cook for 5 mins.
7)add your already washed bitterleaf( i normally soak with hot water for 15 to 20 mins to help remove the bitter taste from the leaf). Please do not stir, just cover the pot and cook for some mins

Nice soup, i would have loved to see the step by step process but anyways i hope you would share with us more of your cooking skills
