SLC-S21W6 | Night Makeup

Hello friends. Trust you all are well. This week comes with yet another makeup type entitled ”night makeup” organized by @almacaridad. Makeup is something every lady should know. You might want to go to an occasion and finding a makeup artist who will do justice to your face isn't always easy. Aside from the high cost makeup artists charge, it may not look as good as you want it to, that's why ladies should have a basic knowledge of makeup and I thank the organizer of this activity for always helping us explore each week.
This week , I really tried my best to do this one because I'm not really a fan of smokey eyed makeup or any dark colors. I love bright and nude colors. But anyway there's no harm in trying right?🤗

💄 Apply makeup to your eyebrows according to what you learned in the previous modules, looking for a neat and defined result; also, perform the “smokey eyes” shading technique and show the process and result.

Step 1: Eyebrows and Eyes
First, I drew my eyebrows in a light form, then I deepened it again, using my mascara wand I brushed the front area thereby giving a natural look, and then concealed the top and bottom to make it neat and polished.

Next, I applied a black eyeshadow over my eyelid. Then, I applied a lighter shade. I used blue as a transition colour.

Then, I blended both shades without touching the eyebrows

Finally, I applied black eyeliner and though the eyeshadow is blue and black, I applied it well and it highlighted my eye look

Next, I applied my concealer to the area under the eyes. This actually perfected the area under the eyelid and gave room for me to apply the dark shade under my eyes.
I applied the black shade in the outer corner and blended inwards with a lighter shade.

💄 Do a skin makeup for the night, in which you achieve good coverage on the face, and also mattify your skin; you must illuminate the areas that were explained in the class. Also, make up your lips defining them as best as possible; you are free to use soft (nude) or strong tones according to your taste.

Step 2: Skin and Lips

I used a thick brown coloured foundation which is applicable for a night makeup
that matches with my skin tone and I contour my nose, cheekbones, tear ducts and brow bone.

To achieve a perfect definition, I used a light pink colour for my lips. Since my eye makeup is already standing out. I followed the directions to choose either the eyes or lips and not both, not that it's bad but just to avoid excess overload. So my lips were light and not so pronounced.

Well, I've always enjoyed participating in each week's makeup task and I actually look forward to it. Throughout the modules I've encountered various challenges but I've also always found valid ways to surmount them and achieve a nice look.

During these weeks, I've done the eye makeup, lip makeup, eyebrows day makeup, applying makeup on skin correctly and today night makeup.

The most interesting part was the eyebrow and lip module activity. I still get compliments from my nude lipstick that week. I really enjoyed that activity as it made us be proactive and to be creative on our own especially in the lips area which a defined color wasn't given.

In all these modules, I've found this week's own tasking. I mean at some point I tend to lose zeal as the smokey eyes weren't ”smoking”😅 but I decided to give it a good try still and it came out well…at least to a good extent.
