The Diary Game #35: Share your day with us!

Hello friends, today I will be writing about how my day went, the events and the surprises , are your in for it..? Also this is my first ever diary game.

So today being the first Sunday of the month of may, it's a doctrine in my church to come by 6am and pray before the normal service which will start by 8am. In fact, it is always observed as a fast, me as a chorister, I had already decided not to go by that time . At least not that early because I had to prepare food to eat and have strength to pray.

I know the minister we have, like you can spend 10 hours inside Sunday service. Ask me what he does? Nothing, just singing and talking! I am not saying it's bad to praise and sing to the Lord. Of course not, that's what is done in church, right? But atleast by 12 or 12:30 pm, the church activity should be done and people should be back to their base. But no! We have to dismiss every service by 2 pm and if you didn't eat before coming, you'll have to be patient.

Now my day event started this way; aside being a Sunday which was not even Sunday at all. I had been surprised right from the first day of the month. Have you ever over hype yourself so much that you said to yourself that you're the best in acting and pretending? And even doing some wicked act? Only to be shocked to know that all of these times, you were just actually learning, like the real pro in that area was playing you all along! So I will give you the real gist here;..

Unforgettably, like I said that I didn't have plans of going to church early as my pastor had instructed, I dash out of the house to the market to get some beverages to take that morning, only to be disappointed as the shops selling those things had not opened early. Despite having to trek for a long distance from my place, I saw okra and all those foodstuff sellers and began to wonder what was I supposed to do with that this morning!

Astonishingly, I went back home and checking the time it was already past 8 am, I dressed up after after having a wash and using a little quantity from my oily perfume I bought yesterday, I mean my precious perfume. This perfume I plan on managing for some time, I guess it was just an imagination though, and off to church with an empty stomach, what a good Lady!

Coming back form church, the whole house was smiling brightly and welcoming me with the scents of my perfume!
Like I didn't use that much nii, so how come the scent is still scenting up till 7 hours? Something's fishy! With a shaky hand and a perplexed mind I opened the bag I kept the perfume, only to be greeted with surprise!

My younger sister had divided my perfume into two. Making sure to use the upper side of the bottle which was much more than the remaining part. My ₦1000! I exclaimed . To say I'm not touched I lied because this is heart breaking itself screaming my name out! Like how could she do that to me? A precious soul and an angel who does not hurt a fly? And to think I had to use my last cash to get that.

Life of singleness is that you? Because she used that perfume on her self to smell nice and go visit her boo. And me? The almighty perfume owner, solely uses for school and church. Like who was I planning to impress?

How annoying sometimes to have younger siblings who could take your things with full rights and authority without blinking and not caring to ask for your permission and could even put an extra used.

Honestly writing, my Sunday was not that Sunday because after coming back form service by past 2 pm as usual, I just had to eat and meet the surprising events and then zoom into writing as I do not have plans of going out.. And I'm still happy. So enjoy your Sunday outings for those of us going out and happy Sunday you all!
