The Diary Game #41: Share your day with us!

Hello friends in steemit, today I will be writing to you all about how my day went yesterday. The activities, places I went ,the weather of the day, the food I ate, people I met and lot of gist. Hope we all are excited to read, please do not forget to drop your thoughts via comments.
I also invite my fellow ladies @adachukwu @chant and @vudeme123 to participate in this diary game.

Now unto the my diary

Apparently, I woke up this morning around 06:30 am and having slept late, I had to hurry up with getting ready to go to school because I had 08:00 am lectures which is not advisable to miss since it is a 4 credit load course. But as the day will have it, It was not supposed to be so, stepping outside the house I found that the sky was cloudy and it was about to pour! Finally it rained at exactly past 7 AM.

It rained cat and dog and not having any umbrella at home to take to school under the rain, I jumped back in bed as the rain kept on persisting.

_Breakfast

I opted to drink some hot chocolate (Nigerians call it tea)and bread because the weather was cold and honestly I was somehow glad it did actually rain int the morning. This is because I had no intention of taking breakfast before leaving to school but here I did.

I used the opportunity to read up on my notes and check all my assignments I had to submit. Thereafter I went on steemit to read from my favourite bloggers and also check for interesting contest to participate in, I finally settled on a contest about anxiety in the steemit engagement challenge because I have experience it many times. I mean we all have.

So I had stayed back home, unable to attend the morning lectures but I had an afternoon class. So after I must have slept well and the rain had stoped, I stood up and went off to school. And that was when the real drama begian.

The class was cancelled to make the excursion on our first tour to "heritage and historical sites in ibibio land" led by our course lecturer possible.

The field trip was at Prof Stella Idiong "Arts gallery and museums. located at the main campus of the university of uyo, by nwaniba road uyo Akwai bom state, Nigeria.

It was a trilling field trip, as we had practical learning and got to learn and understand more on the course IBIBIO Arts and crafts. We also learned about the historical sites and heritage sites in Ibibio land as part of our academy curriculum.

I saw many arts and paintings at the gallery which I took pictures of. Being here made me appreciate the beauty and importance of art in our society and why it should be preserved so that generations unborn will have access to them too.

Due to the number of students we have in the department, I had to come home late and being exhausted and hungry, I was excited as I arrived at the right time as a plate of rice was placed in front of me by my loving mom. Gosh! I'm soo excited.

I actually enjoyed my day, everything was worth the stress.
So I hope we all enjoyed reading my diary about how my day went, as I will also love to read form you all.
