"Photo of the Week Contest 19 | Sharing my best Photo of the Week"
Hello to all my beautiful steemian friends,
Today I am very happy to share another post of mine in the Best Photo of the Week competition organized by @m-fdo in the Steam for Ladies community.
Through this post I am going to share my most beautiful photos of the week.
The month of December has begun.
The biggest day of December is 25th December, which is celebrated as Christmas Day all over the world.
It is said about a famous person who gives gifts to people on Christmas Eve.
It is usually associated with Christmas, which is a magical creature from folklore.
He is usually shown as a fat and cheerful white-bearded white man.
This man is wearing a red suit with white trim. Who is called Santa.
Santa's full name is Saint Nicholas.
And in our country India, Santa Claus is known as Christmas Baba.
Through this competition, I want to tell you all that yesterday a small Santa Claus came to my house.
This very innocent and cute child looked very beautiful wearing Santa Claus's dress.
Actually this is my neighbor's child, he often comes to my house to play.
He enjoys playing with my children a lot.
Yesterday this child came to my house dressed as Santa Claus, he was wearing Santa Claus's costume. And he was wearing Santa Claus' bag on his shoulder. I put some toffees in his bag.
Now he started distributing toffees to everyone by taking them out of his bag just like Santa Claus.
Me and my children like this child very much. That's why we play with him for a long time.
This child looked very beautiful to me as Santa Claus. And his distributing toffees to everyone was fascinating me. I took many photos of him in different ways.
I liked his photos very much. That's why I think that I will definitely share this photo in the Best Photo of the Week Contest.
That's why today I am sharing this photo with all of you through this contest. I hope you all will like these photos very much. All these photos have been taken from my own phone.
I would like to thank @m-fdo from the bottom of my heart.
They hold this beautiful contest every week in which we get a chance to share our beautiful photos.
I hope and believe that you all liked my post.
I invite my friends. @shiftitamanna @crismenia @leicorp1 @mvchacin @ruthjoe
Hi dear,
Do you celebrate Christmas in India?
The fat guy you memtion is made up by Coca-Cola and still shows up with a bottle of cola in commercials. The real Santa his birthday is on December 6th and he looked totally different. His name is Nicolaas.
There's also another Santa wearing a green suit and lives in North Europe in Lapland. It's an old pagan story, believe just like the Christmas trees and the lights in it. The celebration is about mudwinter celebrated on December 21st which is here the longest night or the shortest day meaning the hardest times are over (not really but every day 2 minutes more day brings hope).
Your photos a bright and clear and I hope your sweet little Santa will grow up into a slim, healthy, generous man.
All the best to you and a great holiday.

Christmas is celebrated in India, and the festival is especially important for the Christian community. However, its festive nature varies by religion and region. In big cities and churches Christmas is celebrated in a grand way, while in rural areas it is celebrated in a more modest way.
As for Santa Claus, you are right! The image of the modern "fat Santa in a red suit" was largely popularized by Coca-Cola's 1930s advertisements. But the historical form of Santa, called St. Nicholas or "Sint Nicolaas", actually lived in Myra (present-day Turkey) in the 4th century and was famous for helping the poor and children. His day is celebrated on December 6.
The stories of the green-suited Santa and Lapland are inspired by mythology and regional folklore. Christmas is also related to old "pagan" festivals, such as the Winter Solstice and Yule, which symbolize nature, light, and the beginning of a new cycle.
It is interesting how over time cultural and religious traditions have merged and a festival like Christmas has taken on different forms.
