Today I want to show you guys how I was able to make Fascinator.
But I want to share with us the meaning of FASCINATOR.👇👇

FASCINATOR:This is a type of lightweight hat that is worn by women on formal occasions. Fascinators are set to rule at the royal wedding,church services and so on...

fascinator is a bold, fashionable headpiece that one can wear near the front of your head and slightly to one side. Is not like conventional hats that go over your head, a fascinator should look like it is balancing on your head. You can purchase a fascinator, but making your own is so much more fun! Choose items for your base, accents, and centerpiece to create a headpiece that is unique and stylish.

Having the right materials will make it much easier for you to make your fascinator, and though the exact supplies will vary based on your design, there are a few key elements that you'll need. You'll want to have a material,headband, scissors, measuring tape ,needle and thread, candle gum,cap base or already moulded base,crimdoline,For decorations, you'll need fringe or you call it trimming, feathers, silk flowers, buttons and any other items you want to decorate it with. You may also want a plier to help attach things to the fascinator.

Gather your materials together
And ready for work.

Get your cap base or hat base aside,in other words your already moulded base.
Cut your material using a sharp pair of fabric scissors to cut out the material depending on what you want and the the size of the hat base,but mine the length was 10inches,and width 6inches.

placed your material on top of the hat base ensure corners have enough material to fold in.
Then use your candle gum to gum it round but first start with north, south,west and east before rounding it with the candle gum to ensure you have a smooth work.

After that, you turn the inside and embellish it with any trimming of your choice.Choose fringe that will complement the other colors in your design,such as ash fringe for an ash material
mine was ash trimming,to smoothen the edge of the work.without it you won't have a perfect work because edge of the cap base is always very rough,so in other to get it right,use a crown trimming .

I placed headband or you can use elastic to enable it steady on your head.if not ,it will be disgracing you up and down by leaving your head to the floor 😀
So to avoid the stress,you go for elastic,but mine was headband

Lastly,I cut same material for embelishment.
I cut length 24inches, width 3inches.sew it,after sewing I placed crimdoline inside the already sewn material,then I cut it into 6pieces.
I now used thread a needle with a matching color thread and tag it to the fascinator, I ensure that is strong and I embelish it with rose and star leaf.
Fascinator is ready.

It's very useful, because you can take it along with you.you can wear it anyway you go to,it can be wedding, occasions and event .

It is generally worn with fairly formal attire

Severally worn by women as a Christian head covering during church services.

Lastly,if you are thinking of trying out this bold look at an event, make sure you pick the right shape, size, and style for you.

Creativity brings out the good in you and it is also a spirit that leads.when once you are creative you stand a chance of appreciation.
I'll advise that you should not stop trying out new things though they might seems difficult.
But never give up because many has put food on people's table, especially me.
