After a power up of 5,800 STEEM, there are now 9 dolphins!
What an exciting day it was!
My dear Steemian friends,
No, let me start my post with yesterday. What an exciting weekend it was!
My husband went fishing with friends yesterday, with the result that I could take the Saturday off. No cleaning or making coffee. As it was only my stepson and myself, I even took the easy way out and ordered some pizza and pasta via a delivery service for us last night.
It’s been a while now that I’ve been receiving invitations to participate in power-up contests. I decided yesterday that the day has come for me to venture into buying some STEEM with my SBD and enter a contest.
I think I must have sat staring at my screen for at least 4–5 hours. Must I, or must I not? At what price? I saw the amount of STEEM go up and then come down.
It was difficult with hubby not here, as he is the trader, not me. Eventually, just before midnight, I put in a trade, closed my computer, and went to bed. What will happen will happen.
My eyes were not even properly open this morning when I grabbed my phone to look at my wallet. I was STEEM rich!
The questioning started all over again. Should I power up only half and enter the contest, or should I just go for it and put it all in? Even worse, should I just forget about everything, leaving my wallet to feel "full,” and do it at a later stage?
Late afternoon, my husband sent me a photo. They had a successful day and caught some tuna, a sailfish, and some other predatory fish.
Well, if he can do it, so can I! There is no way that he is going to catch a bigger fish than mine. It was time for me to go all in and catch that ninth dolphin!
Oh yes! Mine was the greater catch!
I am now so close to my big goal! The one I made just over two years ago to catch that orca.
Each morning, if the ocean is not too rough, we have men that go out with their jetskis to check for baits in the shark nets. Among them some friends from the fishing club. Just the other day they reported orcas swimming just behind our shoreline. You don’t often find them on this side of South Africa.
Well, I know that they are here, waiting for me to join them.
