How well does your community know Steemit?
Hello everyone,
It's your favorite Steemian @rakiya from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join in this contest organized by @pandora2010 in this noble community today. It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.
Have you told your community about Steemit? (Justify your answer).
No, I haven't told my community about Steemit at the moment because I do not have sufficient knowledge about the platform at the moment. Though I have discussed it with a few friends of mine and some of them are picking interest already.
My community is a big one and before telling them about this amazing opportunity, I will have to gather good knowledge about the platform first. Also, I can't do it alone properly and that is why I'm educating a few friends of mine to also join so that together we can tell the larger community about the platform.
I'm certain that after having at least 2-3 persons and myself who understand the platform better it will be very easy to educate the entire community about this amazing platform.
When you do charity work with the Steemit rewards, do you let the person supported know?
Whenever I do charity work people who get the support ask me where I get the money from a DNI don't hesitate to always tell them that I got it from Steemit. This is the only way people here tend to know more about the platform.
My friends also anytime I buy something for them I usually tell them that the money is earned by me from the Steemit platform hence they should also do their best to join and earn from the platform too.
With such an advert once in a while, I have gotten a few friends who showed interest in joining the Steemit platform and I'm sure that soon or later they will be doing their introduction post. Some of them have a challenge with phones and other things.
Have you held informative or recreational meetings about Steemit in your community?
No, I haven't been part of any recreational meetings about Steemit before, and the reason is that I haven't been close to Steemian where I am. However, I have been joining online classes where I learned a little more about the platform.
I will gladly hold a meeting whenever we get more people around me who wish to join the Steemit platform. When my friends whom I usually tell about the platform join, I will then go ahead to hold meetings with them once in a while.
Have you supported your community on behalf of Steemit? (How have you done it?)
Yes, I have supported my community on behalf of Steemit. Assisting and giving a few things to friends and relations are major ways in which I have supported my community on behalf of the Steemit platform.
So the charity work I do and assist people around me, I do that all for the benefit of the Steemit platform. So that is the major way I support the Steemit platform always.
