How are you everyone?? Hope all of my esteemed friends of this nice community and steemit platform are well by the grace of Almighty Krishna. I am also well by His mercy. Today I am going to share a beautiful paper work with you. I have made a paper lantern pendant today and would like to share this nice preparation with you by taking part in this beautiful and creative contest. I would like to thank to dear @ngoenyi who organizes this crative contest for us. So let's enjoy the lantern preparation without delay..
- Red color paper
- Yellow color paper
- Scale
- Scissor
- Pencil
- Red thread
- Glue
At first take a red color paper and a rectangular shape of 17*11 cm. Make two small folds from the two length sides of the paper and fold the paper at the middle of the length. Then cut the paper into many small segments from the middle to the small folds of edges. Open the middle fold.
Next cut a red rectangular paper of 18*8 cm. Attach the two small edged folds of many segmented paper with this paper's edges with glue. Roll the joint paper and attach with glue to make a lantern shape.
Now take a yellow color paper and cut two lace shapes and attach these with the lantern edges. Also cut a red lace and a yellow lace shapes and attach these with glue to make a handle. Attach the handle's two ends at the top of the lantern.
- Now cut a rectangular shape from a red color paper. Fold it three times from the middle and two sides. Then fold the paper piece in the left and right sides that makes two corners to form a hanger like structure.
- Cut another rectangular piece of red color paper and fold it three times; cut several small segments of same size from this paper. Then roll the paper edge and attach with glue. Cover the red paper's edge with a small yellow paper piece by glue attachment.
Now take a small red color thread and attach its one end with the hanger and the other end with the red designing structure. Let the glue dry. Then attach the hanger's two ends inside the bottom portion of the lantern.
Thus the beautiful paper lantern is prepared. I have explained the whole procedure in the above five steps so that you can understand well. Hope you all enjoy this amazing paper craft so much. Please keep me in your prayer so that I can complete so many works like this.
