The Diary Game | 22nd of April, 2024 | New Beginnings.

It was 22nd of April.
A shelter of your own is everyone's dream after becoming a family. Today is the day to start building our own home. With the grace of God, we could reach this day sooner than we thought.
I woke up very early as we had many plans for the day. It was around 3:00 a.m. when I woke up. I quickly freshened up and started my first task in the day. I started making milk rice and Lunu Miris (Spicy chili mixed with onions, dry fish flakes, and lemon). It was the first time I made it in bigger portions. I did it just as my mom taught me and it came out really good. I was happy with my breakfast preparation.
According to our customs and traditions, we follow astrological guidance before we start building a home. According to our horoscopes, we had three separate auspicious times. Once I completed cooking, I hurried to get ready on time. First, we had to light a lamp for the Lord Buddha and the four guardian deities to seek their blessings. Our construction team was right on time and they supported us in the process. Then we completed our traditions and returned home to set everything ready for the breakfast meal.
We had some time to prepare for the next auspicious time. We invited the priest in our village temple to recite pirith. Next was the auspicious time for laying the first stones for the foundation. I made sure that everything was ready for that occasion. We successfully completed all the tasks planned for that day. Then we had our breakfast together and left the construction site, ensuring everything was arranged for them to work easily.
I was quite tired and sleepy by the end of the day, my body craved some rest but I couldn't sleep because my little one, Vihan, was awake. Vihan woke up early today and had a good nap in between our work. I spent my evening doing some house chores. Then we went to the rooftop to relax while having our evening tea. We spent a lovely evening enjoying the beauty of the surroundings and the cozy weather made me feel better and less tired.
When night approached, we had our dinner early and I easily fell asleep as I was totally exhausted by the day's work.

I liked your diary very much and was very happy to see that you get up early in the morning and finish all your work and I saw in it that you got up at three in the morning and you did make country milk rice. I am very happy to see what you have done for breakfast and you are doing so well
