The Diary Game | 29th of January, 2024 | Spent our day at the beautiful Shopping mall - Havelock City.

It was the 29th of January.

I was back in Colombo for one of my bestie's wedding. As usual, I woke up and went straight to the kitchen to greet my Mom in the morning. She was preparing us breakfast. I had some time for myself before the baby woke up. Visiting my parents' home feels like I'm free from my responsibilities and carefree. But I feel it too much sometimes, and even I get scolded for neglecting my duties when I'm at my parents' home.

Having our breakfast, we had a few important tasks to complete in the time we spent in Colombo. Today we have plans to meet one of our cousins before we leave. Since we had time to meet her, we decided to go to one of the newest Shopping malls in Colombo.

The Havelock City Mall is a place I really wanted to visit. The Shopping mall was huge and had many stalls selling local and branded items. It was amazing to know that it provides all the facilities that should be in a shopping complex.

The time flew instantly when we were at the mall. It is a place where you can find anything under one roof. I really loved the vibe it gives. Little Vihan was throwing up tantrums the whole time. Settling him made us drain our energy. The Shopping mall had an open space near the food court for the people to enjoy some fresh air and to enjoy the view of the city. We sat and rested after carrying our baby for a long time.

Once Mr. Trantrum fell asleep we had a cappuccino to restore our energy. It was the best time I got to shop peacefully. Even though I felt a bit tired I didn't want to miss shopping. It had really cool stuff to purchase. After spending many hours at the Shopping mall, It was time to meet our cousin Sister.

Before going to the location we dropped our baby home to rest after spending a long day with us. At around 8.30 pm we left home to the location. We went to a restaurant called the Grove. It was a nice relaxing spot in the middle of the city. We ordered our food and enjoyed our time very much. It was a great day filled with fun and joy. I loved the change after a long time. I think I miss city life a lot now.
