I am fine. I left a bit later since the plane left one hour later from Barcelona. Road works though no one worked. I was happy it didn't rain and there was a partly clouded full moon.
Back we went over a capital city of another province to take two classmates home. One was a great navigator so that went fast. We were back home at 4 am. My oh my, drank our herb tea and went to bed.
My son isn't angry I cleaned a part of his room. In the weekend we do more. He needs to study today - exam tomorrow -. It's 10:24 I hear the birds, will do his laundry and mow a bit more.
It's rather safe in this country as long you are not in the capital city and your car gives up on you. If your car gives up on you on the highway no one will come to your aid. People do in the countryside even if you are stuck in the mulle zand van een zandpad.

My stepson is also writing exams, but oh boy, it is not going so "lekker." He has the flu, and all the medicine is making him all drowsy. Numerous kids at school tested positive for COVID, with the result that I am keeping a keen eye on him.
At least it is giving me some time to catch up with work as mom's taxi doesn't have to ride up and down all the time.

We hebben het over op en neer naar Italie rijden of vliegen naar Spanje of Malta gehad, gewoon weekend. Ik denk benzine, tolvignette en parkeren is duurder dan de vliegreis. 🤔

I think the word COVID is still going to be with us for a very long time. I get the feeling that even the common flu has lately been labeled as COVID.
My son and his family also fly all over Europe. He is forever telling me that it is the cheaper option. I was wondering if he was not just too lazy to drive until I had a look. It is indeed much cheaper to fly.
A weekend break is always good. You must do it.

I try not to use the word and agree with you it's just the flu. This virus causes 60% of it since the last 40-60 years? But the average person never had biology and if didn't care what was taught. By now even doctors (those being paid 10-20 euros extra for every vax they gave) spread the nonsense an injection is better than the immune system. To me it's not POB.
It depends where you are but public transport is very expensive although there are cheap ways for travelling like Flixbus (not always cheaper plus the journey can be longer and it's not always available or only at weird times) and train. It's puzzling and using different apps/sites like omnio and others.

The market is not super big, it depends on the weather and season what's for sale and who shows up. There used to be more. It's not per se cheaper, I think shops are present too next to those people who sell a bit of their crops, plants, salted meat or honey. It's a good place to be if abandonned from the shops and to support the locals.
I buy the milk, let my glass bottles refill and the butter. Just bought cherries and chocolate and whipped cream this time. Crazyprices. The last two at a stand a lady buys in Austria, Germany or... The taste and quality differs but the prizes 😥
Anyway, son is happy, so all is good. We don't shop much.
He asked me to visit the market in the city. It's where cars, vintage, antiques are sold... hij denkt zeker: mijn kamer heeft weer plaats vrij. Hij gaat eerst maar een maand of twee werken want hij zou een bank en stoel kopen. Groen 😁

Our farmers market is also very expensive, but the quality is superb! I bought eggs the other day, and all of them were double yolk.
It felt like Christmas!
I haven't seen the double yolk for a long time. I had a look at the eggs but since there was a stamp on it...
I had chickens before but they ended after some years in the stomach of the wolves.
I told my son, heshines and says: thank you and you made his day.
