The Diary Of A Woman Who Had It!

in Steem For Ladies2 months ago

Write a diary, I wrote, it helps you. How could I know that diary would be me?

I told you about the "not odd" response well let me tell you odd it is. My Secures-inbox is flooded with email, you could call it fan mail.

Before the 'issue' was about liking to write to A or B more, feeling sad (you write to him and not me), and next started the 'I'm a bit jealous' episode.
I wonder where the all of sudden 'I love you' comes from. The time we were penfriends for less than a year (8 letters perhaps not even one page of his side) is over three years ago can even be five.

Yes men, if you read this, women do get over men especially if they were not interested in the first place. You know what they say: out of sight out of...

I never wanted a bf/relationship I looked for a penfriend (male/female) reason: me-time because it sucks if all that is left is being someone's mom, wife, or neighbour. Plenty of women will recognize this always caring for others is an ungrateful job if you are taken for granted and moms just like foster moms and wives frequently are if life goes smoothly.

I don't get paid for being the therapist of penfriends and indeed I knew this odd event would get out of hand. It's just like I thought. A gave B a hand with writing a letter to me acceptable enough (acceptable as in what B means to say since he refers to himself as the old dog who can't learn tricks).

Men you do not impress a woman by saying this. Know this is the excuse of a lazy man and women prefer honesty so the right answer is: I am lazy, I don't give a damn about my presentation or I am the greatest guy of all, the golden fish in the pond, take it or leave it.

So A helped B to write me a letter. Let's say B has benefited from A but still envies A. for no reason. For sure A laughs at grumpy B and assures him he is not after me (A. wrote me that but with A you never know since he is a fantasist with a vivid imagination playing the optimist which is easy if you can call your mom daily).

While those two fool around, both write to me and share whatever bothers them with each other. For example the size of, no not of the fish they caught, the letter I wrote. They want me to join their visitor list (no), to make video calls (A asked first and now B asks but the answer is no. If you don't believe me ask the last Steemian I spoke to on Telegram who wanted to interview me.)

I do not make (video) calls.

Eleven messages so I thought let's read them today. Good morning, good night, a few questions answered, why did you say we are done, I didn't mean to hurt you (huh? 🤔), I hope you aren't mad I opened up, I need you, postcards with texts, Will you meet me, I have no plans, A offered to help me, can you send me a picture, no one is waiting for me, I always love you, your best friend, I love your smile, A and I no longer live together, I wrote you a letter (no e-mail but paper in an envelope with a stamp).

Men...(and women) this isn't about love but about loneliness and choking a stranger who reaches out. This will not work. You only scare people away with this behaviour!

) Securus e-card

I wrote back which took me one hour perhaps too and answered each question wondering when exactly I had said that and what kind of pills they had prescribed him.

No, I am not attentive if it comes to this and I said straight ahead: All I wanted was someone to write to, not a relationship what the heck are you talking about, each day of my life I feel relieved I am divorced, I need space, I want to breathe, not to be choked!
Let's see what the answer will be since the last message was that he wouldn't give up (time to move again?)

I thought I could add a happy story of mine to cheer the guy up like "Courage From The Keyboard" _(Courage is the name of the warrior I don't mean the stupid dog)_since it made @ibesso sing but after I copied and pasted it underneath my epistle it was all... gone! 🥴

So my answer was short since my fingers hurt plus it was dinner time: sorry the letter is lost, thanks, the bear is cute, why did you move, accept A.'s offer, I'm single for a reason, no video calls, and I like your story you should edit it and use it for your diary-book. I added a P.S. or two: Please, add a subject and it isn't Summertime yet.

Later I will write A to make it clear I don't like to be matched with anyone, his services are not needed.

The idea a single woman is in need is a myth, thanks but I am capable of taking care of myself.

Like my paternal grandmother used to say: My life is good, better than when your grandfather was still alive. Why should I spend my life with and take care of an old man living on my account?

There's a lot of people online looking for someone, I think after a while feeling fine writing (or reading) the other person, they start thinking in something else could be possible. The problem is that maybe you never talked about romantic relationship but that misunderstood you being kind and friendly if you're not looking for something else.

Finally, loneliness is not for everyone, just for a few ones, for the rest is nor something they can enjoy, but something they suffer and need to fix.

Greetings, dear.

In this case the penfiend is an inmate so staying in prison. It will be harder inside especially surrounded by man only who are focused on bodybuilding, tattoos and making each other jealous or miserable. Misunderstood? No contact for years and after the first letter, one written after my address was past to another inmate who started writing me, starting claiming me... It's a good reason to stop writing. The behaviour has a lot in common with my ex's only difference he's not locked up.

Thank you for reading and commenting.

Dear @wakeupkitty,

Thank you for sharing your candid diary entry with us. Your reflections on the complexities of human relationships and the challenges of setting boundaries resonate deeply. It's evident that you value your independence and prioritize your well-being, which is incredibly important.

Navigating the dynamics of friendships, penpals, and potential suitors can be overwhelming, especially when faced with unwanted advances or expectations. Your firm stance on maintaining boundaries and your clear communication with others about your needs and intentions are commendable.

It's unfortunate that some individuals fail to understand or respect your boundaries, but your unwavering commitment to your own happiness and autonomy is truly inspiring. Your honesty and self-awareness shine through your words, serving as a reminder to prioritize self-care and stand firm in our convictions.

Your grandmother's wisdom adds a poignant touch to your diary entry, underscoring the importance of living life on our own terms and refusing to settle for anything less than genuine fulfillment.

Thank you for sharing your story, @wakeupkitty. Your courage and resilience are admirable, and I hope you continue to navigate life with grace and strength.

Best wishes.

Dear @elian23khan
It took me long to learn to set boundaries and I achieved it with a lot of violence but the worst to me is losing me.
If I would 'give in' now all my hard work would have been for nothing, the suffering, the pain.
It's hard to say 'no' out loud because a woman who does will always be scolded at, but so she will be if it gets out of hand.
Yesterday I decided to give up on writing. It is like A the present/new penfriend says: B reads between the lines what no one can see and he agrees he is stalkish.
I now B is on meds too and all this drama and misery is not what I want or am looking for.

Thank you for reading and your great comment.
I'll cherish it.
Blessings to you.
💕🍀

Dear @wakeupkitty,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and struggles with setting boundaries. It's definitely a challenging journey, but it's so important for preserving our own well-being and sense of self. I understand how difficult it can be to say 'no' and to stand up for ourselves, especially when societal norms might try to silence or shame us for doing so. Your strength and resilience in maintaining your boundaries despite these challenges are truly admirable.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling overwhelmed and considering giving up on writing. Writing can be such a cathartic and healing outlet, but it's understandable that you might need to take a step back if it's causing you more distress. Remember that your well-being comes first, and it's okay to prioritize self-care.

I hope you find peace and clarity in navigating these difficult emotions and situations. You're not alone, and there are always people who care about you, and will support you in every step of the way. Sending you blessings and strength during this time.

Take care.

Thank you for your words of comfort. I knkw the benefits of writing and will not give up on it but I will if it comes to exchanging letters to certain people (same for joining each contest). It should be relaxing, give energy not suck all life out of me.
I've been there long enough and am satisfied with the peaceful life I created for me far away from people.

Blessed be and thank you for the talk.

You're welcome. It's important to prioritize your well-being and peace of mind above all else. Writing should be a source of joy and rejuvenation, not a source of stress. It's wonderful that you've found solace in your peaceful life away from the hustle and bustle. Take care, and if you ever need someone to talk to or assistance with anything else, feel free to reach out. Blessed be to you too.

Setting boundaries is the hardest thing to do. He's not able to hear what I say (write) makes up things so and by now it's all drama.
It feels to me it's the best giving up writing to him.
Thank you for respomding, you hit the nail.

Hello my dear friend, I see that your journal offers a fascinating look into the entanglements of contemporary relationships and communication. It highlights the misunderstandings that can arise when friendship is confused with something else. Your assertion of independence and rejection of the control or subordination of others is a demonstration of strength and resilience. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

I would not even call it friendship. If it comes to friendship there has to be a certain bond and I don't see or feel this bond. To me he is a stranger, someone in prison I once wrote but hardly shared a few lines with me. It's not my idea of a penfriend nor a friendship.
For sure he is lonely, confused, depressed, without plans for the future once out of prison. He has no family support or friends and he is on medication. So I understand he sees me as the light in his darkness but that is not love.

Once out of prison I am forgotten or even long before.

Thank you for your comment

Feliz y bendecida noche.

I described exactly what I did. I wrote a letter to a prisoner! A prisoner who sent me 11 emails and thinks he loves me and can claim me plus I added my thoughts.

To my understanding a diary is not about reciting what you did on your day. Diaries are meant to write about how we feel! We share our feelings on paper, the feelings of the day. That is the essence of a diary and if you read all those diaries books published you know what is meant by keeping a diary. They help us think, digest the day, control our feelimgs and with the right spirit they can also make us laugh about the 'misery' that came over us.

Frequently there's asked on this platform to be creative, use the tag #creativewriting and I don't see any creativity. More a copy from a template.

@steemladies is a commumity for women. Ladies only so to say. This time men are invited to share their day. Perhaps yours was about celebrating, gardening, studying, well mine was about 'writing to prisoners' and that kept my mind busy.

It's fine if you don't understand what I wrote, I don't think you read any other of my diaries or ever read me before, but perhaps what I wrote gives you an idea how (some) women feel if they are just kind to men and are forced into something they do not like or want to, let alone asked for or gave a reason to be harrashed or matched.

To me a diary is not a game (I once used the title: Is my life a game to you). I am not here to play games but to write a diary and this is mine and the pictures are two of the e-cards out of...X... I received. I would glue them in a handwritten diary.

I say A or B since I do not find it appropriate to mention people by their name.

I prefer to be me, the writer, not to deliver the next copy of a copy out of 1000 entries and to be honest I don't care about winning a game based on people's lives. Can be that's me, because I am a woman and care more about my feelings, the essence of the word 'diary' than the 'game' part but so be it.

It makes me think this is a huge difference between men and women. Women go for the diary/feelings while men go for game/winning.

It was an interesting comment you left, I thank you for that it gives me food for the mind. 👍

I wish you a good nightrest and a great day. Happy writing, blessed be.

"Its because mens are from Mars and womens are from Venus" 😁

Yes that is the reason 🤣 but now those two planet people can meet and greet, read each other and who knows there's a chance we understand why we act the way we do and even get closer and strenth our bonds. It sounds good to me, a great opportunity, what do you think?

All the best, happy writing.

Halloo @bangun kitty

Membaca buku harian anda sesungguhnya sama seperti baca novel, ada tokoh, konflik dan diakhiri dengan pesan dari nenek (1905). Sejujurnya aku bingung... Wkwkwkwk, ini membutuhkan HOTS ("High Order Thingking Skill ").

Gaya penulisan kontemporer tetapi kaya akan diksi zaman dulu (teman pena = sahabat pena) membawa saya ke nuansa tahun 90, tapi sekarang tahun 2024, sementara nenek tahun 1905. Ayoo gimana coba, wkwkwkw

Terima kasih sudah berbagi sudut pandang yang berbeda, saya boleh minta tolong untuk memberi komentar terhadap penulisan anak saya, karena dia butuh banyak bimbingan dari berbagai macam model penulisan.

@wakeupkitty, your diary unveils a personal saga with an ironic glance at loneliness and online interactions. I admire your frankness and humor in navigating these complex waters. Stay strong and authentic!

I am glad you found the irony and the humour as well. It's what makes live bearable eslecially the good laugh. 💕🍀
