- My first experience with Shampoo...
Today we all know that the manufacturer of any products for babies have many great invention that makes life for both children and parents very easy but how it was in the past?
When I recall my time then having a wash of my little hair with something called “shampoo” always made my run away and hide. I hate it, the reason was that our shampoo was very stingy for eyes, even diluted little drop in eye would bring your eye to tear for few hours and you will have red eyes with swollen eyelids, although I think that was maybe my fault too because I tried to rub that stingy liquid away from my eyes and usually made it worse.
There were many tricks that my mother thought about that diluting it in water and letting me often to turn with back and tilt my head back. But this way or that way there was always a little bit of shampoo in my eyes.
I remember once I decided to try to grab a large towel for bath and hold it in my hands and covering my eyes with it. My hope was that water with shampoo has to go first through the towel and then into my eyes. Actually this helped and at the end of my hair wash I was happy. That was only way that I agreed for my hair to be washed that time.
When I see what everything now we have for our little sweet babies, I am really very happy for them and to tell the truth many young children and even young adults have no idea about that horrible experience that many of grown up have had during their childhood time.
- "No more tears"...
My first time when I saw the baby shampoo I could not believe my eyes when it was written “tear free” I was not able to imagine because it was chemical, it smelled like normal shampoo and made foam like normal shampoo does. Do you want to know what then I did to try? Yes, I decided to wash my hair with baby shampoo and without any big covering or shutting my eyes. I foamed my hair and after that just washed if off my hair, of course, water was running my face and I opened and closed my eyes receiving running water into my eyes. I was now positively surprised that this foamy water did not have that stingy sensation from my memory. So my hair wash went very pleasant and my hair become very soft like of a baby.
The time is passing by and we have good inventions, there are bad invention that do not hold for long but invention of “No more Tear” shampoo is the best what could happen for both babies and their parents. Because I remember how much stress my mother had with me hunting for for hair wash. It was a nice to recall the past and to share my story with you.
