RE: 'FREE SPEECH COMMUNITY' - Now on Steemit (Founded by @AngryMan)

Your rule: DO NO EVIL

Isn't that the logo of Google - who are one of the worst regarding censorship?

A rather subjective rule for me to entrust my Freedon of Speech to...if you do not mind me saying so.

Even CAUSE NO HARM would not work, for if I criticise someone or a group or even the Cabal, I could be said to causing them harm.

How about: Speak according to your own good conscious? In other words, ask the poster to censor him/herself.

If someone is paranoid or whatever and makes a bad post, all it would do is brand that person in our eyes as a fanatic or mentally deficient and I do not think any harm would be caused.

You say, post in the community and resteem to my blog - the other way around cannot be done? Just curious...

Hello @arthur.grafo; thanks for your input.

Yes...It was Google's famous/infamous (?) moto that they stopped using sometime around going Public on the Exchange

I listed it as a Joke… 'Dry Humor' perhaps, yet still funny in my opinion. I'm keeping it on the list for now in an effort to help convey that our community welcomes light hearted posts as well as those serious ones.

I tried the other way around and it did not work for me. Perhaps I didn't do it correctly (If possible to do) Sharing a post you might create within the 'Community' page is simple though...just 're-steem' it and it will appear on your personal blog.

Yet, there is also a method for 'Cross-Posting' (even other peoples posts) I did it at least once, but forgot how. I must have stumbled upon a 'button' somewhere. It works, but cross-posts all seem to appear without the main image.

I wish I could remember a link to help guide you in that regard; all these new features appearing at the same time seem to be causing a lot of confusion for users.

Ciao

Thanks. I'm glad I made my comment, as I learnt from you.

A, maybe, silly question: Why is it in your community, you are FOUNDER while I am only listed as ADMIN in mine? Did I miss out on doing something - if you know.

It's not a silly question @arthur.grafo13 . I designated myself 'Founder' while setting up the Community, then afterwards, I added 'Admin' from the drop down menu. Once I became administrator, the 'Founder' title remained.

Thanks for explaining.
