Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

It is the weekend, once again... and we all know what that means: It's my favorite day of the week: Caturday!

Hello!

Caturday is that fun web tradition by which we share pictures of our cats on Saturday... something people have been doing online for over 20 years!

Yesterday we observed "National Kitten Day" here in the USA, which is an idea started to draw attention to animal shelters, and to encourage the adoption of shelter cats during the height of what is known as "kitten season."

Shangri and Nala are our two most recent shelter kittens!

We always encourage people to adopt their furry friends from shelters, because there are so many animals out there that are in need of good "forever homes."

Otherwise, we are having a quiet weekend here. It's a bit of a gray day today, so there are no sunny spots for the cats to nap in, so they are cuddled up in their warm beds, instead.

When you have multiple cats, it's always a good idea to have some large cat beds (or dog beds) that will accommodate two or more cats sleeping together. They like to keep warm!

The Son-Hooman is visiting this weekend which is nice because there's an extra Hooman in the house for additional pets and playtime! And you never know, we might be able to get a quick treat off a plate, somewhere!

What have you got, there? Can I have some?

Not particularly impressed with what has been going on in the Cryptosphere, as well as in the greater world. Seems like everything is heading in a rather dark and depressing direction, these days.

Regardless, we're going to do our best to stay positive and keep moving forward... at least we have places like Steemit where we can post cat pictures!

Smudge is now 21 years old!
