Hi everyone, I am fine, and I hope that you all will be fine and will be doing great work at Steemit. I am M. Abdullah. Today I am her to participate in a contest which is about Hepatitis B. I will participate in this contest by answering some questions.

What is Hepatitis B, and how does it affect the liver?

Hepatitis B is a virus caused by a needle etc and it is also called (HBV) and It causes damage of the liver.When this virus attacks your liver then it makes your liver swollen and you feel like a pain in your stomach or make y ou feel very tired even that it can also change your skin colour into yellow and your eyes also changed into yellow .This condition is called jaundice.
In some people the virus leaves their body after a short period of time and they start feeling good.This is called Acute.Whil;e I n some people this viru s can leave in their body for life time and made chronic in their body.If it is became chonic then it can harm liver and also can lead liver to cancer or failure .
Their are two types of Hypatitist B.These are :

  • Acute Hepatitis B.
  • Chronic Hepatitis B.

Acute Hepatitis B :

The acute hypatitist B is for short period of time and it can leave body after a short period of ti me like within 6 months and you can fell good after some weeks or months etc.

Chronic Hepatitis B :

Hepatitis b which is made chronic in your body means that it will not go out of the body after at least six months. It will stay in your body maybe for a lifetime.



What are the symptoms of acute and chronic Hepatitis B?
Acute Hepatitis B :

Acute hepatitis B is the starting point of this virus and this is for short period of time .Some people after treatment get rid of this virus within six months etc.Their are s some common symptoms of Acute Hypatitist B :

  • Feeling very tired.
  • Your skin and eyes turn Yellow.
  • abnormal Pain usually in that area where the liver is located.
  • Vomiting.
  • Fever.
  • Muscle and joint pain.
  • Changes in bowel movements.
  • Loss Of Appetite.
Chronic Hepatitis B :

When the Hypatitist B virus lives in the body for a long time of period then it becomes chronic and called the chronic Hypatitist B.tHis is also called Silent infection because there is not many symptoms of this ironic Hypatitist B . Some of the symptoms are ;

  • Continuous tiredness.
  • Your skin and eye changed yellow color.
  • abnormal Pain usually in that area where the liver is located.
  • Swollen legs.
  • Loss Of Appetite.
  • Weight Loss.
  • Bleeding.
  • Frequent infections.
  • Itchy skin.


What are the common ways in which Hepatitis B is transmitted?

The Hypatitist B virus can ber spread through the blood or blood fluid of someone whoo is infected by hypatitist B virus (HBV).Some of the common ways in which Hypatitist B is transmitted are as under ;

  • Sharing of needles.
  • Contact with infected blood.
  • Tatoing.
  • Health care Settings.
Sharing of needles :

When a needle is being used by someone who is infected by Hepatitis B then the needle can be full of infection and after using it you can also become infected of the Hepatitis B virus.

Contact with infected blood. :

The infected blood can be transmitted by many ways like :
In an accident the person through stitches this virus can be transmitted.and in Sharing of blades during haircut with the infected blood etc. and also When the blood transfusion is done before it the blood should be screened properly.

Tatoing :

If tatooing is done with unclean needles or such like equippments then their could be a chance to transferring of Hepatitis B to other person who see tatose are made.

Health care Settings :

In a healthcare setting the hepatitis B virus can be transmitted to other people if the healthcare equipment are not sterilized properly.

How can Hepatitis B be prevented

There are many methods od preventing Hptitis B virus among them all.Vaccine are the most effective way of preventing hypatis B virus .There are some other ways of prevention like don't sharing of needles because the infection can be transmitted to someone else in this way and also avoid sharing of personnel items like toothbrushes etc and always test your blood to check that your blood has an infection if you had a feel of it.
