Finding Support and Hope: A Family's Journey through Appendicitis with Assistance from Community and Medical Professionals

Peace be upon you, I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. Alhamdulillah I am also fine, I have been busy for a few days. Because my brother was admitted to the hospital he had to have an operation for appendicitis. Due to this, I could not give my time on this platform.

Two days back my brother was at work he called me and said d asPapapa that hadve mild stomach pain and fever and took his medicine and gave it to me. So I can take it from any store and be fine. We figured it might just be a fever with a little upset stomach too, so I prescribed medicine and sanded it off. He took that medicine and ate it, but for two days he continued to take it, which brought down his fever, but the pain in his stomach was not going away, which is why we told him to come home and take the day off to see a good doctor at home and get it done. He came home and after coming home we gave him some medicine and he was taken to a doctor.

As soon as he was taken to the doctor, he put his hand on his stomach and checked it, at first he thought that maybe he had an inflammation of his intestines which was causing his pain. But then he said to get her ultrasound done to get complete information. As soon as we took her for the ultrasound, she said that she was complaining of appendicitis but it was not clear in the ultrasound. For some days he was taking medicine due to which he could not develop the disease. So he was treated lightly and then he prescribed some tests and another ultrasound to find out for sure.

I don't have the ultrasound report which I forgot to take a picture of. But after that, he prescribed some tests and medicines which I have the report of which I am sharing below. Then we did another ultrasound and it looked like we could delay the operation for another month but it didn't happen.

The pain wasn't stopping so my dad went in for another checkup. But after a long time, I called them to find out what is the problem, you have not come yet. He said that the doctor had admitted us here, and he said that he would have an operation immediately.

As soon as I found out, I also went straight to the hospital and when I went there, I saw that the brother had been bottle-fed and was lying on the bed. And said that there are seven operations to be done and one of these seven numbers will be yours, so your number can be taken at any time. So we were thinking that the first operations were the delivery cases, maybe their first and we are the last. But it didn't happen, our brother's operation came second.

The operation was not yet done but it was night. I was standing outside the hospital and my father said that I should go and get food for the patient and myself. Because we had to stay at the hospital that night, I came home and my brother was operated on. And when I came back with the food, the brother had come back to his room after the operation but he was still not conscious. Before the operation, they made the man unconscious so that he did not suffer, so he was not conscious yet.

_{After Operate}

After about two hours after the operation, my brother regained consciousness and then I had a couple of talks with him. So that I can entertain his heart because at that time the person is in pain and what the person is feeling before unconsciousness is the same thing that the person is thinking after regaining consciousness. He was in pain before when he was sedated, but after that, he felt like he was in pain again, so we talked to him to get his attention. Don't go this way. So I started chatting with him so that he could be attracted to all of us and he would not be in pain or feel any pain.

So we spent the whole night there in the hospital and the next day again when the doctor came on rounds he came and checked and said you can go home today. Because your patient is perfectly fine, the operation has been successful. And you can clear your dues and go home.

Then we paid him his bill and after that, he gave us a card with all the information written on it about what the disease was and how it was treated. And then after that, he wrote medicine on the same card which he said you have to buy from any medical store outside.

Meanwhile, a doctor came and changed the brother's bandage. And at the same time,e I also saw what happened to the small operation with only two stitches on it. Because the operation of the appendix is very normal, it is small, if the appendix bursts inside us, then we suffer more damage, its operation is also large and its poison is also likely to spread inside. Alhamdulillah, we should thank Allah Almighty that Allah Almighty did not put us in such a position and got my brother's operation done quickly so that it does not cause more problems.

Our dues were also clear, we had also prescribed our medicine and also got the bandage changed. We were free and we could come home. I called my uncle and my father came with me. We put my brother in the car and brought him home. So he can be taken care of at home because it is not possible to keep him in the hospital my brother is perfectly fine now only we have to give medicine that we can give at home.

_Medicine

After dropping my brother home, I went to the medical store to get the prescribed medicine. And the brother was being treated at home as well. There is a friend in my village who has a medical store, I went to him and showed him the medicine, but he said that this medicine was lying to me but it has a little reverse, it can be a little change. If you want to take the same medicine, you should go to Khan Pharmacy, it was also nearby. And he said that you would get a good discount by going there and getting work done, so I went to Khan Pharmacy.

When I went to Khan Pharmacy, I showed him the medicine, and he gave me the medicine, which was about five thousand 200 rupees. We got on discount, if we didn't get the discount, then it was around 6000. After buying the medicine from there I took it home.

The medicine consisted of some tablets along with syrup and an injection. Dad said to me that now it's evening so why don't we inject him noe Barnula was already applied, so my dad prepared the injection which was two grams. It was applied to the brother and after that,t we gave the medicine to the brother and told him to rest now.

_{At Home Treatment}

Thus, last week I spent my tension and worry, due to which you can see that I did not even post on this platform. Now I request you guys to pray for my brother's recovery so that he recovers quickly and can walk. Because he is still vomiting a lot which is not a good sign.
