The Unguided Pursuance Of Moses Destiny (06/05/2026)
It is very necessary for one to know ones destiny (Exodus 2:11) .Equally, knowledge of it without guidance is very dangerous. God who is destiny builder should be allowed to initiate, control and guide in all areas. There are untold set backs in fulfilling ones destiny when God is not consulted in macro and micro matters. This study is examined under the following sections;
- Purpose without pretending: Many things came to pass in his life as to solidify his relationship with God. Moses knew where he was going. The spirit of God impressed upon him early in life about God's calling for his life. Acts 7:23. The knowledge of his calling was the brain behind some major decisions as; He had no regard for sonship identity, he chose the pathway of suffering if that will lead him to a fulfilled end, he chose willfully not to enjoy the seasonal pleasures of sin,he had revelation of the coming Messiah and looked forward for his day, he was a man of faith as he saw the invisible in all things Hebrews 11:27.
All these shows he knew God's given goal for his life and he cannot pretend about this. Apart from Moses some others knew God's purpose for their lives and it affected their actions, conduct and belief. Jesus knew the fathers way, Paul earnestly desired to know Him and the power of His resurrection. On serious note, do you know God's purpose for your life.? Can you affirm beyond every reasonable doubt. The order is purpose before programmes; purpose before procedure. These will help you to have a focus. When you discover God's purpose, do not be in haste.
2 . Premature presentation prevents proper pattern: Physical maturity is not the same with spiritual one. The problem of Moses in Exodus 2:11-14 was that he felt, he is up to age to act on his vision. That 40 years made his head to be swollen. He was not spiritually advanced as to meet God for the following details: timing, people's readiness and fulfilled prophecy. These facts would not have been discovered by physical experience but by revelation. The feeling of being a man made him burdensome. If he had not visited his brethren and looked on their suffering, he wouldn't have seen what he is not prepared yet to handle. The premature presentation of God's will in his life has cut off the divine pattern to follow. Saul was a kind of premature actor by executing the duty of a priest (1 Samuel 13:8-12). Jesus grew physically but needed other growth as to make a full proof of God's calling upon His life (Luke 2:40) .Let us begin to ask from the Lord what we will do when we come to age. Learn from the Master, (Luke 2:47-51); though it appears He answered their questions surprisingly he knew He still needed 18 yrs to take off and that was why He submitted to the options of his parents. Nevertheless, every wrong act goes for a price.
3 .Price for every misplaced priority: Moses paid the price of premature act, he left the land of abundance to that of uncertainty, his life was under threat. A man of faith, (Hebrews. 11:24) suddenly became a man of fear(Exodus.2:14) ,he engaged into a marital programme that has no positive influence over his ministry.
Other people in bible times paid one price or the other. Saul lost the kingdom forever (1 Samuel 13:13-14.) Let us beware. Discover God's purpose for your life before attending to any programme. Moreso, the pathway to your destiny may be rough but the question is who is your guide?
In summary, allow the divine purpose to affect what you do, never take the next step in your destiny journey until you are sure of the presence of God, don't be in haste, all are not yet lost the price of an unguided route is too weighty that you cannot afford any compromise.
