The Diary Game [28/03/2025] Sick Friday Experience/ Indoor Isolation

Greetings, happy weekend, it's your girl @geegirl, from @Nigeria. I'm here to share my Friday diary with you. Please stay with me as I began, I won't take much of your time. Thank you.

I woke up late at 10:45 a. m and say my morning prayers, thanking God for life and the grace of another day. After that, I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. After breakfast, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a bath before eating.

When I finished eating, I went back to bed because I wasn't feeling too well. I woke up again at 2:47 p.m, feeling a little better, I made my bed, swept the house, and arranged it neatly. Then, I went to the kitchen to prepare lunch and ate.

After eating, I was sweating and feeling so uncomfortable due to the harsh weather. So, I went to the bathroom to refresh again. Afterward, I dressed in my simple house outfit and entered the kitchen to prepare snails that I had picked near my house four days ago.

Since I wasn't feeling too well and my mouth wanted something chewable, I decided to prepare the snails. I knew it would take time but I had to prepare it in order to satisfy my cravings.

How I prepared the snail

  1. I washed the snails with warm water to remove debris.
  2. I carefully removed the snails from their shells using a spoke.
  3. I washed the snails again with warm water to thoroughly remove debris.
  4. I scrubbed the snails with salt to remove sliminess.
  5. I rinsed them with cold water and then fried them using oil, salt, and pepper.

It took me almost three hours to prepare the snails.

Some Benefits Of Snail

  1. Snails contain glycolic and hyaluronic acid, which help accelerate wound healing and improve tissue regeneration.
  2. They have anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling and pain.
  3. They have antibacterial properties that prevent infection.
  4. Snails are a good source of protein.

  6. Snails are a source of vitamins E and B12, as well as selenium.

Snails have various benefits, ranging from medicinal to nutritional, culinary, and cosmetic.

Once I was done eating, I was feeling cold,as the weather was cold, I quickly retired to bed, covered myself with wrapper, say a word of prayers and I slept off.
