We already have enough healthy food to feed the world, but the problem is that it isn't distributed equally.

You might like to consider the economic health and environmental benefits of local food systems. So, now you've started to think about food security.

Ultimately, we must balance people and resources. This is a challenge for agribusiness and consumers alike, but one I think we're up for.

For a population to be food secure, a consistent supply of nutritious food is required and that food needs to be accessible, both physically and financially.

The types of food we produce and how we distribute those foods has a great influence on people's diets.

If we want people to be eating healthy diets and being healthy and living long lives, then we need to make sure that there's a consistent supply of nutritious food and people can access them easily.

What role do government policies play in food security?

Two billion people in the world are food insecure. Food insecurity is not knowing if you'll have enough food to eat today tomorrow or if you're a farmer when food from your harvest runs out.

The German government is going to secure food and nutrition for people worldwide the human right to adequate food obliges states to build an enabling environment for people to be free from hunger and malnutrition. The German government supports the United Nations food and agriculture organization FAO and other bodies in their work to progressively realize the right to food the FAO draws up internationally.

Accepted Frameworks and standards for food security and nutrition and provides policy advice to governments for instance on legal safeguards for access to land on strengthening responsible Investments.

How does climate change threaten food security?

Increasing population demographic, changes in urbanization, changes in wealth, eating habits and food preferences, disasters and disaster response and changes in energy availability in use greatly impact food security.

Can community gardens improve food security and health? Explain

It quite evident that he who helps himself God help him. Therefore community gardening not only improve food security as well as improve health of the community.

How do cultural factors influence food choices?

It is necessary to have food differently if you speak different languages, Culture, climate. Your soil and climate grows crops vegitable and fruits what actually you need for growth of your body. It takes lots of time to change food habits.
