There we almost always meet some of the friends that I have made now with this disease, women who, like me, are being treated for Breast Cancer.

There is one of them who is very enthusiastic and tells us that life must be lived at all times, it was then that I started taking photos of us and even the doctors' nurses began to get together to follow the joke.

It seems simple, but it is important to maintain this attitude in the face of this type of illness, letting depression dominate us is something extremely serious for any patient who must follow a long treatment like this.

The difference with a viral disease is that you know that in a short time you will get out of the process, but here you know that it can take at least a year in chemotherapy treatment, but that check-ups and visits to the doctor can take 10 years or more.

I have met people there who have been dealing with Cancer for 20 years, some have had it continuously and others have relapsed into the diagnosis.

So imagine if you were always going to be depressed, you wouldn't make any progress in getting better, wouldn't you?

At first I got a little depressed, first because of the diagnosis that was always synonymous with "Death", then because of seeing those people who arrive almost without encouragement for their treatment and knowing of someone who had lost the battle.

But that doesn't say enything good about me if I am a person who believes in God and who believes that He is the one who has the last word on our process. Then I changed my way of acting and my attitude, then I changed my way of thinking, my faith grew more and my hopes have increased.

Not everything is lost, if we believe in God we know that He is in control of everything, we just have to have faith and patience to wait for the process to finish.

Alli nos reunimos casi siempre algunas de las amigas que he hecho ahora con esta enfermedad, mujeres que al igual que yo estan siendo tratadas por Cancer de Mama.

Hay una de ellas que es muy entusiasta y nos dice que la vida hay que vivirla en todo momento, fue entonces que comence a tomarnos fotos y hasta las enfermeras de los medicos comenzaron a juntarse para seguirnos la broma.

Parece algo simple, pero es importante mantener esta actitud ante este tipo de enfermedades, dejar que la depresion nos domine es algo sumamente grave para cualquier paciente que debe seguir un tratamiento largo como este.

La diferencia con una enfermedad viral es que sabes que en poco tiempo saldras de el proceso, pero aqui sabes que minimo puede llevar un año en tratamiento de quimioterapias, pero que los chequeos y las visitas al medico pueden llevar 10 años o mas.

He conocido personas alli que tienen 20 años tratandose de Cancer, unas ha sido continuo y otras has vuelto a caer en el diagnostico. Entonces imaginense si siempre van a estar deprimidos no avanzarias en su mejoria, no creen ?

Al principio me deprimi un poco, primero por el diagnostico que siempre fue sinonimo de "Muerte", luego por ver esas personas que llegan casi sin animo a su tratamiento y al saber de alguno que habia perdido la batalla.

Pero eso no dice nada bueno de mi si soy una persona que cree en Dios y que cree que El es quien tiene la ultima palabra sobre nuestro proceso. Entonces cambie mi forma de actuar y mi actitud, entonces cambio mi forma de pensar, mi fe crecio mas y mis esperanzas han aumentado.

No todo esta perdido, si creemos en Dios sabemos que El tiene el control de todo, solo tenemos que tener fe y paciencia para esperar a que termine el proceso.
