My son is a doctor, and many moons ago, when he told me that he wanted to become a doctor, I would not believe him. I always thought of him as a chemical engineer.
Well, I told him it was fine; he could apply for medicine, but on one condition: that he promised me that he would be a "people's doctor."
He did not disappoint me.
His love for his patients comes first.
