Hello my steemit friends I hope you all are doing well. I love writing about health topics and joining contests like these. Today i am very excited to share my thoughts about swimming and how it is good for our health.
What do you think about swimming is it a sport an exercise or a healthy activity?
In my opinion swimming is all three. It is a sport an exercise and also a very healthy activity. Many people enjoy swimming as a fun game while others do it to stay fit. Swimmers in competitions train hard just like athletes in other sports. For people who want to stay active and healthy swimming is a great choice. So i think swimming is a complete package of fun fitness and health.
Tell us about the health benefits of swimming?
Swimming has many health benefits. It is a full-body workout. When we swim we use our arms legs back and stomach muscles all at the same time. It helps to make our muscles strong and flexible. Swimming also improves heart health which is very important. As a cardiology student i know that swimming helps keep the heart healthy and reduces the risk of heart diseases. Swimming is also very good for people who have joint pain. Since water supports our body it is easier to move in water without feeling much pain. It also helps in weight loss and improves breathing. People who swim regularly feel more relaxed happy and fresh. It also helps in improving sleep and reducing stress.
Have you ever tried to swim? .Where did you do this in a river pool or in a sea? And how was your experience?
Yes i have tried swimming! I remembered my first time was in a swimming pool with my cousins at first i was a little scared but my cousins helped me feels comfortables. The water was cool and relaxing. Slowly i learned how to float and then move my arms and legs. It was a fun and amazing experience iloved it so much that i wanted to go again and again. Later i also swam in a river during a picnic. That experience was more exciting because the water was natural and flowing. But i was also more careful there because rivers can sometimes be deep and dangerous. Still it was a very happy memory for me.
Share some tips and tricks to keep in mind while swimming?
Here are some simple tips and tricks that i want to share for safe and good swimming:
Always warm up before entering the water. Stretch your muscles a little.
Never swim alone. Always go with a friend or adult.
Wear proper swimming clothes and goggles to protect your eyes.
If you are new stay in the shallow area. Do not go to the deep side.
Do not eat heavy food before sw wimming. It can make you feel sick.
Take breaks if you feel tired.
Listen to the lifeguard or your trainer if you are learning.
Drink water after swimming to stay hydrated.
Swimming is more than just a fun activity it is greats for your body and your minds. It helps you stay strong healthy and happy i believe everyone should try swimming even if it is just for fun.
