The Diary Game: Still Hustling Despite Feeling Sick(14/05/2026)

Greetings to you, I am Emmanuel known as @smithbillz here on Steemit. I wasn't feeling perfectly fine this morning when I woke up but I tried to do my morning chores and even assisted in cutting firewood so it could be used in preparing our breakfast. I rushed to a chemist and complained about my health and I was given drugs which I took after my breakfast before going to work.

I reached my workplace late and my boss had already opened, I greeted her and went about my work. I swept the shop and also washed the beer glasses while my coworkers did other tasks. Everyone knows I'm the music master so they left that task for me, I pulled out the speakers and jammed my favorite music and the bar became lively. We didn't record much sales from the time I arrived the shop till around 10am.

I ate lunch in the afternoon and took my medication, I felt very cold after taking the drugs despite the fact that the weather was not cold. I ran some errands for my boss, I was sent to a poultry to pick up few crate of eggs and when I returned, I cooked some for sales. I wanted to buy one for myself but I remember our rules here and locked up.

In the evening, I flashed my sister and when she returned the call, I asked for some money for food and also told her of how sick I was. She told me she wasn't feeling fine herself and that she had spent some money on her medication and textbook as her school had resumed but will send me the little she had, I told her thank you before she ended the call. When I closed from work, I went home and took my bath, before going to a shop and bought malt and egg with the money my sister sent me and ate.

I returned home and went to bed early though I had in mind to wake up around 9pm and write but I overslept and I was forced out of bed by my coworkers by 10pm. They're waiting to see the outcome of my work here before they will also join, you know we really doubt things over here in this part of our world. I'm happy to be here and I look forward to having a great experience, thank you steemit.
