In addition, I took papaya leaf extract, which has been described as being useful in treating dengue fever. Besides this, I was on a saline solution for the rest of the time.

And yes, papaya leaf extract is a very beneficial for dengue fever..
I too had dengue fever once, then I was also advised to drink papaya leaf juice.
