MY POST FOR CONTEST PHOTOGRAPHY / THE DIARY GAME / DATE- 2MARCH2020 / STEEMINDIA

Hey guys... how you all are doing. I hope everyone is fit n fine . So i saw new contest is going on @steemindia which i personally found very much interesting because two months ago i went on trip and i really wanted to share those pictures and my experience with you all so here i got chance to share those photos with you all.
Firstly let me tell you about those places where i went. i went to Himachal Pradesh and explored some villages like sethan and Spiti valley. I can say those places are heaven.

📍Sethan, Himachal Pradesh

BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE SETHAN

Many of you have heard of this village in recent time for 2 reasons: first one is Hampta Pass trek as this trek starts from here and second is skiing and snow boarding sports are active here in winter season.

But Sethan is so much more beyond this! Stayed for a day but that was enough to fall in love with this tiny hamlet. From amazing view of hampta valley to gushing streams amid the greenery, it was a perfect detox super close to nature. If you plan to visit this hamlet, here are things you should know!

Due to being so remote, no network is available other than BSNL. Wifi is available but with weather fluctuations, it's difficult to do Workcation.

You can go for small hike to Chika fall which is near first camp site of Hampta Pass trek (P.S better to go with local guide to be safe)

There is a small buddha temple which is very beautiful.

You can go for a walk till Pandu rupa which a small cave by the lake side where long back Pandavas used to stay. Go further till first barrage for more scenic walk.

Its a small village with just 14 families. People are very sweet. Please respect them and keep the village clean.

There are small cafes/dhaba to address your hunger, but locals cook amazing food

If you are planning for winter then amazing place it is to experience igloo stays and snowboarding.

If weather is clear you can catch the most beautiful sunset from top, reachable via small hike.

Now i"ll share some pictures of sethan when i went for trekking.... although i didn't complete the trek but i reached to some point name chika point where view was so beautiful and the place was very peaceful.

📍Spiti valley, Himachal Pradesh

Spiti had always been on my wishlist. And yet initially,I was unsure because there is always so much crowd that sometime they close atal tunnel . However all my insecurities vanished and I found myself at complete ease. I was in one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the pleasure of seeing, with my cousins whom I loved and a group of strangers who made me feel at home even when I was miles away from it. I don't think my trip could've been any better.

The trip was magical to say the least. The thrill that you experience when you are riding on those roads with the chilly winds caressing your face is truly unmatched. At the same time, I've never felt the kind of peace that is omnipresent in the valley. When you are in Spiti, you're truly spellbound and you never want that spell to break.

It was my first trip with my cousins and it shaped our relationship in a beautiful way and for that I'll be eternally grateful. To meet someone whom you can look at the sky with and know that in that moment, you are both experiencing the same joy is so rare to find and I am so grateful to say that I struck gold with them.

I'll always cherish the memories we made on this trip. So here are some pictures i took there .just have look.
