Hello Everyone, I wish you are well. Welcome to my blog. I am glad today to share my latest autumn landscape painting. This painting was painted using acrylic medium. I like to paint autumn because the vibrant colours of the trees are really beautiful, some artist called it the best season.

In this post I will show you how to paint autumn step by step painting process. For the beginners acrylic paint is excellent choice to start painting. There are several benefits of this medium, one is the versatility and fast drying. This is ideal for beginners because this medium is affordable.

Materials needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper
👉 Acrylic Paint
👉 Ruler
👉 Pencil and Erazer
👉 Brush
👉 Tape
👉 Tissue Paper
👉 Clean water

Brushes:
👉 Round brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
👉 Liner brush - #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
👉 Flat Brush/small - #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm

Acrylic Paint:
👉 Voilet
👉 Orange Red
👉 Ultramarine Blue
👉 Titanium White
👉 Brown
👉 Green Mid
👉 Yellow
👉 Black

Process:

I always start with sketch before painting the canvas. I used titanium white and ultramarine blue for the background and blend them together and create smooth background. I Used flat brush for this part.

The middle ground is the center or focal of the painting, the objects here are smaller. I painted the distance trees using green mid, yellow, brilliant red and white. I used round brush and liner bush for the distance trees.

For the grasses and bushes the first layer is dark green with the highlights of yellow and white. I used flat brush for this part. The tree trunks of the autumn trees, I mixes black and small amount of brown. For the leaves there are four colors of paint I used, such as green, brilliant red, yellow and white. The brush that used for this part are round brush and liner brush.

This is the finish autumn painting.
