Diarygame 04 24 2021 week#1 participating national earth month celebration|| urban poor association MACLUPA clean up drive
Hello to all steemians!
As we joining the celebration of earth month, our urban poor association (MACLUPA) mactan lupa urban poor association conducted a clean up drive at barangay mactan, lapu lapu city, cebu philippines.
At exactly 6:00 in the morning here in the philippines. Everyone are united. Me and my co- member of MACLUPA are participating the "national earth month".
As you see, everyone are bringing their own cleaning materials the coconut broom and the garbage sack. We started sweeping from our house 1km far from where we stop. We started at exactly 6:00 am until 8:30 am, each of us have the same aim. Coz we believe that if we have clean environment we have also a healthy living.
While we are doing this activity we did not forget the health protocols. We also have our mask to wear inorder to prevent the virus. We also pass some companies located here in our place. Their security guard ask who told as to clean/sweep but we answered "no nothing" told us.
Today is the "national earth month" our association decided to do this activity willingly to participate. As a concern citizen and human being. You dont have to wait to somebody before you will do an action towards the good and benefits of our mother nature. You think it is good then do it with all the hearts.
At around 8:00 am. Everybody are getting sweat which this is also an exercise for me. We fell hungry , so we decided to stop by at exactly at 8:30 am. Our garbage sack also are full but our stomach was empty. So we decided to stop and go back to our house and have some snacks. We borrow money from our association php200 or converted to $4 us dollar to buy our snack. Our snacks is malunggay bread or what we called"malunggay budong" here in the philippines pair with the coffee.
After eating our snack, each of us returning home. And saying see you next activity guys.
In this activity we develop the friendship, bonding, helpfulness and being a good and concern citizen towards our mother nature. If all the members are united, we make the work easier and possible. And see in their faces the happiness and willingness to help.
