The Dairy Game: A Calm Day 17/10/2022

Greetings, SteemPhilipines community. I hope everyone is doing great today. I am back to this wonderful community, I have been absent for a long so please forgive me for that. Here I come with the dairy of today 17/10/2022.

Dear dairy, dear dairy;

Morning

Today was a new week with a new challenge, and I appreciated how it started. Here it goes...
I woke up very early in the morning today not having much to do. I started by taking part in the engagement challenges organised by the Steemit team in the various communities. I had fun while doing that.

Following that, I went straight to work on my lecture notes for my students.I am a chemistry teacher and the notes that I was preparing were on halo alkanes. I revised on their physical properties, examples of the family of compounds, their method of preparation, and their reactions.

Did you know that these halo alkanes are used for the preparation of organic compounds like alcohols, ethers, esters, amines, and nitriles, which are important constituents of daily substances like drugs, fertilisers, etc.?

Afternoon

I was hungry, so I went directly toward the nearest restaurant, which was on the university campus, since I did not eat in the morning and it was around 11 a.m. Unfortunately, I was alone; my friend with whom I usually eat was not there, he was in the hospital consulting. I ate rice and groundnut soup. The plate costs 500fcfa (approximately 3.3 STEEM) and it is really consistent. That is why I love eating there.

After eating, I went to the campus park to digest my meal, and there I observed people and the environment.

I was dizzy, so I went into the house to take a nap.

Evening

It was already evening, so my friend was already back from the hospital. I went and paid him a visit and we spent the evening together.

After that, I continued to prepare my lessons for the test I am to teach on Wednesday.

Conclusion

In all, my day was very calm and I took time to enjoy my environment. I learned the uses of organic compounds which we consume daily.
