Baby Photography : Welcome To The Family Baby Zeniva Jane

Babies are like fallen angels. They are always a blessing to us. 🥰

Hello, #SteemitPhilippines. How are you all? I hope we are all doing great despite all the hardships that we've been through. Today, I just want to take this opportunity as a chance to share how happy I am the moment that I met my first newborn niece. These lovely photos were taken during my rest days when got to my hometown.

I am not yet a parent, nor a mother but I love babies and/or kids. Maybe because I can still remember how my parents love me and brought me into this world.

September 08, 2021 - my sister-in-law just gave birth to this very adorable angelic child named "Zeniva Jane". When I got the news that day, I was so excited to meet her but I couldn't right away because of work and living here in the city, far from my hometown. It was 2 days before my 2 rest days.

On the following day, I was just counting the minutes, hours, and even seconds before I got there. I was excited to see my bloodline.

And the moment I got home, by September 10, afternoon, I could not able to hug her right away. Safety protocols are always a must everywhere, especially I was going to hold a baby. I was just staring at her all the time while in a deep sleep. While looking at her, I could imagine how my parents took care of me when I was still a baby. She's all covered and shield with a mosquito net so that nothing can bite and touch into her skin, and not unless there's always someone on her side while sleeping.

After an hour, and after sanitizing myself, I could finally able to hold her. She's irresistible. I held her carefully and gently. During the daytime, she just keeps on sleeping and sleeping and sleeping. But at night, we won't be able to get enough sleep because it's her crying time. Not until we played the relaxing baby music. After that, we figured out how to stop her from crying. I just wanted to hold her the whole day because, by the next day, I was going to return to the city again.

By the following day, we enjoyed watching her first bath with grandma. After all, it's a grandma who's always been the expert in taking care of babies. We just observed how she handled her beloved granddaughter so that we can also learn if time will come we also have our own.

After taking a bath, she drank her milk and went into a deep sleep again.

I don't understand, but I don't know why I was almost in tears while seeing the baby for the first time. She's not my child, but I could feel the struggles of being a mother in the labor room while trying her best to give birth to her child.

For now, as an Auntie, I just enjoy watching her while she grows until she can learn to talk and how to walk.
