Good day Steemians. Steemit has been my open diary for whatever activities or events in my life.
So, allow me to share the preparations we had before our wedding ceremony. Of course, everything is in a "do it your own" arrangement since we are particular in budget.

Affordable Make-up Artist and Hair dresser

Early in the morning, together with my bride's maid, we wake up at 5am to start hygiene. Soon after breakfast the make-up artists and the hairdresser arrives. They are only our neighbors who happened to do bride make over for the first time. I am very satisfied with their service because they are very cinsiderate what make-ups are comfortable to us.

After I've done the first make-up for the pre-wedding pictorial, the bride's maid follows.
They charge us at an affordable price of P 3,500 (70 US dollar)hair and make up for the bride and groom, 4bride's maids, 4 groom's men, 3 little girls, 2 mothers and 2 fathers.

Do It Your Own Bridal and Bride's maids flower bouquet

I went to the market the day before our wedding. I check on different flowers but they only have limited stocks due to the typhoon. I pick the white flower cost P 60.00/dozen times 5 dozen equals P 300.00 , and other yellow tiny flowers cost P 150 per bundle. A total of P450.00 for the flowers or approximately 9 US dollar

With the help of my aunt @georgie84, she decorated the flowers to look elegant. While my aunt @sweetspicy put some blue ribbons to match the wedding motiff. Thanks to them I have a big save on flower bouquets. When the photographer took a photo on it, this is what it looks like.

Do It Your Own Invitation Cards

Well, invitation cards cannot be unlisted during preparations. I want it to look elegant but affordable. Thanks to my sister @jesmilingirlover who puts on effort just to make my imagination happens.

Things we found at home such as a laptop and a printer give us an idea not to buy outside. With the use of glue gun and a white glue, this can be possible.
I just bought hard papers costs P 150.00 for 30pcs., 1 roll blue ribbon costs P 175.00 , and a total costs of P 325.00 or approximately 6 US dollars for 30pcs invitation cards.

We have the wedding coins cost P 150.00
Our Saudi gold wedding rings cost P 15,000.00
My bridal shoes cost P 150.00
All these stuffs cost P 15,300.00 or approximately 306 US dollar

My Handsome Groom

He is also busy preparing himslef for this momentous event of our life. He is naturally gorgeous but it is much better to be comfortable on that day. With the help of her best man, he did his best to look presentable to everyone wo will be witness in our union. Thanks to our friend who gives us discount on entourage gown package of P 3,500.00 or approximately 70 US dollar.

Pre-Wedding Bridal Shot

Thanks to my aunt @georgie84 and uncle @steemitcebu, who now our ninong and ninang, for sponsoring our photographer worth P3,500.00.

These are just one of the preparations we did before our wedding. I am hoping that the electric company will tap our electricity line again so I can completely charge my cellphone. It has been almost 2 months after the typhoon and we have lost our electric connection. I have many things to share about our affordable wedding expenses so other single Steemians will have ideas on how to prepare their dream wedding.
