Occupational competition, what to do?
All our necessities even those we are not asking for, God is ready and God is willing to provide us with everything that we need if we are followers of Christ.
You see, that depends on the faith. The lord Jesus said in Matthew 6:33,
For you to become financially stable, God will add to you everything you need. But the first condition, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
"All our necessities and even those we are not asking for, God is ready and God is willing to provide us with everything that we need if we are followers of Christ."
If you seek first, you give priority to God's righteousness and His kingdom. If you will be a devoted follower of Christ, your priority in life will be His righteousness, His doctrines, His kingdom, you will not be troubled whatever assassination attempt is made by your enemy.
You should not worry if you are a follower of Christ.
For Example, even if they compete with you, keep on praying, keep on trusting in what God can do for you and I believe that you will win the competition, that's really how it is. If there is unfair competition, that's really how it is. In business, there are lies. There are false advertisements in businesses. But success does not depend there, it is on God.
Let us start reading ! Chronicles 29:11-12,
12 - Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.
All these things are in God's hand. What will you worry over if you are a follower of Christ? Especially if you are engaging in a fair business practice, no fraud.
Years ago at the Cavite public market, most o their weighing scales were tampered with, the scales were not accurate. I told to my friends, "For you not to have problems, make sure that your weighing scales are accurate." Since their weighing scales were accurate even if they profited little, later on, buyers proved that they use accurate weighing scales, their regular customer increased.
Small profit but many customers. You may rake in large profits but since there is deceit, you will lose customers, you will still be a failure. With God's mercy, their business increased.
