We, Filipinos experienced summer here in Philippines. SUMMER is a season which we experienced very hot climate and we always craving for cold drinks and of course we wanted to go out for a beach. And summer happens every March to May. But right now, we experienced heavy rainfall due to climate change.

As I noticed, before the pandemic, every summer time many people from other countries visit Philippines especially here in Cebu. Why? Because we had lots of nice beaches here. If you happen to visit Cebu, try to search some beaches and resorts and I am sure you will enjoy a lot.

I belong to a big family. My mother got married at a very young age, to be exact she is still 19 years old whe she got married with my father. And I guess, most of our parents who belongs to a middle class in their time marry early since they can't afford to go to school so some got married. Do you agree with me? I think so.

Since she got marry early, she was able to born 6 kids and I am the eldest. And now these kids already had their work. So, because of that me and my siblings decided to have a summer getaway every year. And one of the memorable getaway we had was when we go to Maravilla Beach.

Maravilla Beach is a resort and some called it as mini-boracay because of its fine , white sand. Many people from other countries also go their not to go swimming but they just go sunbathing since most of them love our colors and they wanted to have a body color like us.

The resort also offers rooms with balcony and seaviews. And it is located at Tabuelan, Philippines. From our place, it is almost 3 hours of travel.

What made it memorable to me was because of the activities we did their. Upon arrival, we rest for 5 minutes, arranged our things and we had a short thanksgiving led by my mother. Then, we had our lunch together and of course chitchats with my aunties since they also go with us.

We then go swimming and had some pictorials with family.

We also played volleybal. And we really enjoyed the game.

And of course, this sand story will always be present. My daughter played with son and tried to burry his father. And as I see it, my baby really enjoyed what she is doing. She really loves to play with the sun everytime we will go to the beach until now. And I know almost all the kids do.

And thanks to Van Rental who brought us to our destination and brought us hone safe and sound. It has been a long journey but we were so comfortable with this airconditioned van and felt like we were tourist that time😅 By the way, the owner of the van is our churchmate/pastor and we just rented it for only 5000php (approximately equal to 200steem). It is just budget friendly since almost 20 persons were with us on that van.

And I am as well very thankful to God for giving me this family who were happily enjoyed the bonding we had. Praying for more "laags" with them.
