Early morning yesterday we received a news that our neighbor just passed away after battling with acute leukemia. It was just last month that she was diagnosed with the disease. In less than a month her body deteriorated and just yesterday she died. Very young at 25 years old.

Upon hearing the news, I reflected on my own life. Our life on earth indeed is very short. We don't really know the time to leave.

I thought about our children. I thought about my husband and my family. Sometimes we got so preoccupied and busy with a lot of things. Most specifically in making a living that we tend to forget the reason for all that we do.

In some of my previous blogs, I often mentioned about spending time with our dear loved ones. My husband, Jay and I don't really earn that much. That in several cases, we only received our income and in a blink of an eye it is all gone to pay the bills. 😁 But we sees to it that if time and budget will allow us, we would definitely pay our families in Laguna and Negros a visit. After all, we can never turn back time and regret we did not spend much of it with the people we love.

Our motto "Ang pera kikitain pa yan, pero ang panahon ay hindi na pwedeng balikan."

And so we create great memories specially with our children. Memories that they will remember in their lives and will never forget the joy they felt with it.
