I begin to use social media at the age of 19 and my first platform was Facebook. At that time the type of social media was at its peak. As years pqaaed by, new platforms evolved like Instagram, Linkedin, and many other audio and video chat platforms. I also explored a few of them like Linkedin, Instagram and Youtube.

The experience of social media varies from person to person and depends on several factors such as the platform, age, interests, and privacy settings. I find social media to be a fun and engaging way to connect with friends and family, share content, and stay up-to-date with current events. However, social media can also have negative effects, such as cyberbullying, addiction, and the spread of misinformation. It is important for parents to monitor their children's social media activity and educate them on responsible use.

in your opinion, what is the right age for people to have access to social media?

The appropriate age for a person to start using social media is subjective and depends on the child's maturity level. In my opinion, children should be at least 13 years old before they start using social media. At this age, children are more likely to understand the risks and consequences of using social media and can handle it more responsibly.

However, it is important to note that age should not be the sole determining factor for when a child can start using social media.
