Title of the Movie: "Thumbelina"- Why I love this movie

Thumbelina was born out from a flower and grew to about 3 inches tall. When she became older, she got worried she would never met someone her own size until she met Prince Cornelius from the Fairyland. Unfortunately, she was kidnapped by Ms.Toad and managed to escape to find her prince charming. Surprisingly, there were bunch of forest animals who were willing to help her. They were so happy to have found each other and so the story goes. They were flying as they sang the song Let Me Be Your Wings.
My kids loved this anime movie so much because of the flow of the story and the animal characters that was dubbed by great actors and good singers
I love this song because it reminded me of my kids when they were young and still complete. It brings life to the good old days that I couldn't help my tears from falling down. God knows how much I missed them.
You see, we had a VHS before and they would watch the movie entitled Thumbelina. They really loved the story that they would replay it over and over again. When the guy started to sing the song Let Me Be Your Wings to his lady love, the five of them would stand and sing the song as well! My heart melts whenever I see them sing in unison with glee. It was such a beautiful sight seeing your kids singing together and full of energy! It's a scene I have never experienced when I was a kid and I am happy that such unforgettable memories has been instilled in their minds despite the tragedy we've encountered before.
To those who knew of this movie, the story of Thumbelina has been there already since I was young up to the present to which the younger generation still enjoyed watching in YouTube. The memory still lingered on to the deepest chamber of my heart that I listen to this music whenever I missed them.
We always sing it in unison whenever we're together and my daughters would recall to Antonia of their happy days when they were kids with their Ate and Manong. This is the main reason why I just love this song because it brings good old memories!

The whole family watched that movie sa widescreen jud sis. We commuted to Iligan City just to watch that movie. It was a war/love/Musical drama and the kids did a good performance. Julie Andrews is really a good singer. Grabe!
i have to admit, hindi ko pa napanood to but the story sounds nice... i used to watch cinderella on VHS din hehe brings back memories
It's a fairytale dear and just like any fairytale stories, they always end up a happy ending. Lol! That's the most important part of a child's imagination especially the song which was sung beautifully by Prince Cornelius. Kaya gustong gusto ng mga anak ko. Feeling nostalgic talaga Kami. Isa pa Yong Lion King pero time na ng eldest apo ko. Nasa barko na sya sa labas at pinanuod Ng mga kasama nya Yong Lion King, tumayo daw balahibo nya dahil paborito nya yon nong maliit pa sya. Halos magasgas na Yong CD kakaulit.😂
