Over two months that I was not able to write and share thoughts with you. Though I was silent with my updates due to work I am still working things on my end by checking steemit friends from time to time.

For an update today, I would like to give credit to my wife @georgie84 for working so hard being a mother, a wife and a person someone could rely on. Past few months wasn't easy but she made it easier for me and everyone in the family.

To start with, almost 2 months ago my the family celebrated our daughter's first birthday and it was one of the highlights for the second quarter of this year in our family. Preparations was not easy as I have observed but my wife and everyone in the family works hard on it. So not just close friends and relatives could celebrate with us but as well as our neighborhood.

My wife's full effort in making props and designs for the party and with the help of our family it was indeed very nice.. We both decided to have a cocomelo theme since Eva enjoys watching cocomelon videos and songs.

In the morning of Eva's birthday party we had almost all the kids in our community. We prepared Jollibee spaghetti and burger steak and cold drinks. We also had puto cheese or a muffin shared to the parents and adults came with the kids. I would also mention @jes88 for making the 100 pieces muffins which she started making early in the morning. I really appreciate her help especially she was still pregnant that time. She also managed the party well and was an emcee of the event.

My other niece @jesmilingirlover also bought a cocomelon cake for Eva. It was a delicious and pretty cake for my lovely daughter. She is truly love by the people around her. My wife also bought a 2 layer cocomelon cake with cookies. It was indeed a morning full of fun for the children. My daughter enjoyed a lot seeing her visitors celebrating with her.

Though our place wasn't that big for the party and the people came to celebrate with us but still I was very happy seeing all of them enjoying the food we prepared for them all. We contacted a catering service to provide us the foods and other stuffs needed for the party. It was easier than the family will cook and clean everything from pre to post party. We bought 2 pork lechon and together with other foods we had for everyone. It was my first time to cater a party with lots of visitors since I grew up in a small family and with a neighborhood who does not have a lot of people around. It was an experienced for me being a first time Daddy to give a wonderful birthday party to my daughter.

Aside from our beloved guests the very important of them all are our fellow steemians came as well which makes the birthday party fun and special special because it made my wife very happy seeing her good friends from previous job. I am glad they came!
