The Diary Game Season 3 (10-03-2021) | My Sunday ends with bailing flood water coming into the bathroom.
Rainy season has come with flood and storm alerts. Our Sunday evening was a no fun and tiring because the flood water gets into our bathroom.
But before that, early morning has a nice weather. We went to church at 8 for the service and then went to Sunday market as part of our routine.
We bought vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, carrots, and potatoes. These are actually some of the ingredients of my favorite vegetable dish called chopsuey.
After paying me and my wife went home before 10 in the morning. In the afternoon it starts getting dark as signals for the huge rain. At 5 pm it starts pouring until it gets heavier at 6 in the evening. My wife just remembered that it might have flooded in the bathroom and when she checked, the water is already too high and starts coming into our bedroom.

Me and my wife immediately took buckets 🪣🪣 to throw the water in safer place. I was totally shocked and got panicked because I didn't know what to do at first. Then I remember safety first, so I unplugged all the gadgets and appliances that's on the floor of the bedroom.
My very alert wife went outside to stop some of the rainy water by removing most of it to the higher ground but easier absorbed water. And I continued throwing water to the safer ground outside.
Since she got totally soaked and looks tired, I told her to get rest for a while and I continued what she had started. We both got soaked. It was around 7:30 in the evening when we finished cleaning. We took bath and got ready to bed (but I am still writing my blog).😁
Outside the house by the water pump to bathed, we feel accomplished for tonight's hard work. I am not sure if we can get better sleep tonight as the rain starts pouring again. Praying it won't be a lot. Not just for us but also to those who are in danger and suffering during heavy rain.

It's nice to hear that you had a nice day during the morning. When I read about the flood on your bathroom, I really felt bad for you guys because you had to drain it manually. This made me wonder, doesn't the drain work on your bathroom?

Actually drain works but last night rain was too much for the drain to handle. We are going to have it fix this morning before another heavy rain. Thank you for your concern @sgbonus I greatly appreciate it. ☺️😊
