The Imperfect Man...
In life's journey, I have come to find,
That perfection is elusive, just a state of mind..
Yet in life's twists and turns, I have come to see,
That I still, would not let perfection be...
For in love's pursuit, I sought her face,
A flawless love story, I hoped in every embrace..
And even when love, brought its ups and downs,
I hoped for more, that perfection would still come around...
In friendships, I sought an elusive sign,
For a bond unbroken, for a mind just like mine..
But the oddities in my friends, it made them dear,
In the unique and imperfect, their love was sincere...
In the mirror, I sought a flawless face,
To fit the ideal mold, to be in perfection's grace..
Yet I found, that in each flaw, and in each scar,
Therein, lies the true essence of who we are...
Alas, in life's journey, I have come to find,
That perfection is elusive, just a state of mind..
And in life's twists and turns, I have come to see,
That I, just like you, would seek perfection still...

I was working on a presentation file recently, and I realized that whatever I did, I seemed not to be satisfied with the outcome. Yet, a colleague of mine was super impressed by what I had done.
The thought then came to me... That humans tend to strive for perfection, an elusive phenomenon.
That thought process extended into this piece. I hope you loved it.
Perfection is, just like love, in the eye if the beholder.
If it comes to perfection expectations depend on the person we meet or deal with.
There's no need to be perfect, that's what I learned.
